S01E13
What a terrible ending.
Tommy & Malia have totally different powers so it made no sense for them to create anti-solar energy when they touch. Chuck was able to absorb the 1st solar flare by himself. I thought they would have Mallia keep earth safe by stabilizing the weather & Tommy would either teleport the earth or the solar flare away. Instead they invented this weird energy that they could shoot by killing some innnocent human. It was nonsense.
Tommy duplicated himself? That was also dumb. We already saw the clone guy, so two Tommy's was not impressive, he could have just taken care of everything in the future, brought everyone to a frozen present then finished saving Earth. It was unnecessary. He also just abandoned Erica in the future by slicing her watch off with a sword, which was not as cool as they thought it would be. I also think she's wrong, there is no way that timeline just ceases to exist. Caitlin can still be rescued.
I also did not like how he & Hiro say 'I tried it a bunch of different ways' they should show us a bunch of those ways where things go wrong.
El Vengador & his storyline turned out to be completely useless. What a waste.
After all the amazing comic book movies & tv shows, I don't understand how Heroes Reborn could be so bad. Instead of ending with everyone moving on with their lives selling ice cream & fixing cars, they ended with the dumb tarot card dad mystery ending. Nobody cares anymore.

Tommy brought up a good point, every time he goes to the future it's always the same. It could be because he fails to stop the solar storm, but it could also be that because it's so far in the future, humanity is dead for a different reason. They have two possible solutions for the HELE, so why doesn't anyone ask: why not both?
Matt Parkman, do you not have a hands free car phone? They shot Susan Storm & then Chuck burned his wife to ashes. There was nothing left but he didn't seem too broken up about it. That was crazy.
Erica's backstory & flashbacks were pretty pointless. I think these days having a girl keep a baby from a a dad she doesn't want is dumb.
Now Tommy is trapped in stupid EverNow, I was really hoping we were done with the lame EverNow cgi.

I'm so glad that they finally killed that clone guy & his annoying gun holding technique. It was so weird-looking especially when he was confronting two soldiers who know how to hold a gun.
Tommy had the comic book that showed the future but it's like he didn't even read it to find out what happens next. Why even bother having that comic? He should have been holding an older issue.
The actress who plays Erica was doing a really bad job in this episode. She was terrible. I guess the twins saving the world is a better plan because it saves everyone, while her plan only saves a few.
They are all going to meet up but the show is almost over, so it just isn't that exciting.
How is mind-reading / mind-controlling Matt Parkman not in charge of Renautus? He could have read Erica's mind & found out if he was on the list & taken over.

I think it was dumb that Matt had to resort to threatening Mexican Iron-Man with a gun in order to get info out of The Invisible Woman. He should be a really powerful telepath. I did like the way Matt insulted Mexican Iron-Man.
Mexican Iron-Man is finally working with the Hero Truthers. I don't see how they are going to keep Renautus the bad guys, when she is saving humanity. You don't have to save everyone, besides re-populating may be better anyway.
It didn't makes sense that Luke was like 'she's my destiny.' Him stalking a teenage girl is weird even if she did save his life. I don't know why she didn't just say to the drivers 'you guys, I just stopped the storm.'
Not happy about seeing Hiro save Noah.

S01E09
7,957 years in the future! That makes sense, the solar radiation probably would be gone by then & everyone is dead, so no more paradoxes. It would be a good time to re-start everything.
Tommy finally figured out how to stop time, but instead of saving his girlfriend first, he saves Joanne first. Even though he knows Joanne & The Intersect killed all the Evos in the church in episode 1. That was annoying, especially after she just killed penny man.
I can't believe they had Matt Parkman eating a sandwich in the doorway. Dude, you are going to have a heart attack. Mexican Iron Man was boring again & Matt is collecting Evos in a mind controlled cult, I guess for when Renautus needs one of their powers?

Chuck is out-acting everyone on this show. But then his scene was ruined when they had Joanne smile after she killed Ice-Man. While it makes sense that she would have felt better about killing that Evo, no sane person would have smiled about it so soon.
I should have enjoyed this episode more because of the time travel. It didn't help that they kept saying "back to the future" because it should have felt like Back to The Future, but it didn't.
Noah is a terrible actor. He was not believable as a grieving father when he found out Claire died. Seeing Matt Parkman again wasn't cool, he's working for Renautus, I don't know why. Harris holds his gun in a really weird way. He comes across as campy, instead of being scary. Mexican Iron Man was at a court martial hearing & he was still boring. His stupid ex-girlfriend smacked him for no reason. They really should have re-shot the scene where Angela Petrelli says "you're pretty big for a one-year old." umm, nope he's only a day old.
At least they changed the past: Erica walks with a cane & Quentin is alive but a traitor & The Haitian is probably alive.

So Tommy is actually Nathan Summers, (they should make his eyes glow) & Melina is actually Rachel Summers, (I do not want to see her in a red zentai suit).
I did not recognize that nurse as Tommy's mom until she let her hair down. Hair is so powerful, it even made Joanna look less ugly.
It wasn't clear that Hiro tried changing the past when he kept popping around in the garage, the writers could have had him stop the explosions & still have Renautus & the HELE to deal with, in a changed present. Hiro is just as annoying as he was in the old show. He refuses to change the past to save hundreds of lives but has no problem changing the past to save just 2 babies. So dumb.

Oh no! Quentin is dead, just when I had started accepting him. Noah even called him his friend.
I think it was smart that they were drowning the Harris prime. No bone exposure means no clones. I would think they would also be able to bleed him to death.
Hiro is back, but as soon as he showed up he was as annoying as he was back in the old series.

That's the whole point of your power! Change the past! Ugh, I really hope they don't just observe what happened at the Odessa Summit. It would be so pointless.
I can't believe Mexican Ironman is really that dumb to just drink some blood looking thing the bad guy gave gim. He didn't even ask what it was.
The Han Solo line was so forced because it was lame that Ren even said that he loved her. He's known her what, a week?

S01E05
I like that there is an actual reason for what's happening: The geomagnetic pole reversals and a huge solar storm that is going to kill everyone. Renautus is trying to save the planet using evolved people's powers. This is way better than just a generic "I want to be in charge" or "I hate Evos" like that murderous wife. They still have to explain how they can harness evo powers & connect it to machines.
I was liking tommy until he got mad at his mom for basically being his mom. Hello, Peter Pan, you are adopted, that's no reason to be mad. She's been your mom this whole time. So that was annoying, he should have been more concerned with everything else that was going on.
Mexican Ironman is not that smart. 'Hey cops, one of your friends is dirty.' ugh. But then the "they live" glasses showed up. d'oh. It looks like Lt Laforge needs to expose his bones to generate clones of himself or he would be creating clones everytime he cuts his fingernails or gets a hairfut.
The best part of Heroes is when they finally meet up with each other & work together. We get so close when Katana girl shows up where Quentin & Noah are, but then she leaves. It was so disappointing.

S01E04
Chuck's wife is awful, she's not only ugly, she pulled her gun on him. I'm surprised she didn't kick him out of the car. At least he burned the list of Evos. They tried to make us sad with the Dog but it didn't work, seriously that could have been an upsetting scene if they had done it right.
The mystery of June 13th is not interesting at all & they need to move a little faster on some of these other storylines. The two girls in the Arctic were boring & so is Katana girl (she better not go to Star City). Mexican Batman really should have taken his nephew for a ride in the car, uncle fail. The priest made his hands steam instead of his entire body? Dumb. I'm surprised that Molly killed herself but it wasn't really "shocking" or sad.
The only interesting story is Tommy, he finally teleported out of the friendzone. "Who knows what evil lurks in the minds of men?" The people who watched the web series know.

This episode was better. Quentin is growing on me & it looks like he'll be around awhile. The indestructible cheerleader is dead, hopefully that means there is some bad guy who can kill her. So how will they defeat him?
Those "They Live" glasses are portable Cerebros that will just lead to an Evo-war, I don't think Renautus thought this through. It'll be Justice Lords.
Our Evo-killing couple is 50% Evo, D'oh. "You didn't hire me for my restraint." No, we didn't Dr. Curt Connors.

I thought Tommy was sending people into his memories which would have been way cooler but he is just teleporting people. I don't know where they are going with him & Emily but watching another guy in the friendzone is going to get old really fast.
I guess CGI is cheaper than the 1st time the show was on because they are showing a lot of powers in the show. Primatech is still sort of running. I honestly don't remember how the original Heroes ended, it was so frustrating I must have repressed most of the story.
I don't know where they're going with the vigilante guy, he doesn't have powers. They should have kept the brother alive. The priest & his power was creepy, considering priests IRL. It would have been better if he didn't have a power & was just helping selflessly. I don't know why they even mentioned the indestructible cheerleader, I doubt she will be on the show.
The video game katana girl is really getting annoying. I don't want to watch a video game (ok, yes, I have watched people play video games on Twitch but this is not Twitch).
Maya from the 100 is here! I hope she has a big role, she could save this show.

S01E01
Did not expect Chuck to be a bad guy shooting people with no remorse. I can see why the evos are hiding. It was cool to see some old faces, of course they killed one already.
I like that we are following the kid. Where did he send them? Hopefully we won't see the fat guy from the webseries again. The video game segment was strange, they should have done that scene in live action, it would have been way cooler.
I really really hope they learn their lesson from last time this show was on. They better have a plan & know what kind of story they want to tell. At least this time they won't get sidetracked because an actor becomes popular.

I hate "found footage" movies & tv shows. Nobody films themselves that much & eventually they have to use footage from a standard camera. So this was getting on my nerves. That hoodie guy at the beginning of almost each webisode was super-annoying.
This prequel series was ok. Her power seemed pretty lame at first but like the Invisible Woman, they expanded it. I don't like that they used just the date to refer to the explosion instead of calling it the Odessa Tragedy or the Evo Attack.
Not a good start. Hopefully the regular episodes will be better.
