The Vanishing of Will Byers

Stranger Things
S01E01
Season 1 Episode 1

I like that the 4 boys were playing Dungeons & Dragons for 10 hours & riding bicycles, it was like looking at Anytown USA, before the country went bad. The boys were also actually young. It did remind me of Stand by Me & ET. I don't remember Goonies that well, but that too. It wasn't boring.

So weird to see Wynonna Ryder playing a single mom & I didn't even recognize Mathew Modine.

That diner owner was nice to her & he was murdered because of 11, so she better start talking soon. Is she some hybrid, born of that weird thing? Are they doing experiments there like The Mist?

Los Muertos

Fear The Walking Dead
S02E09
Season 2 Episode 9

Yup, this is the last season of this show I'm going to watch. This show should be called Fear The Walking Dumb.

Nick stole the Gansitos for the little girl even though there was room in the shopping cart & even though he knows how dangerous drug dealers are, especially the ones in Mexico. It was just so stupid that he offers them medicine that isn't his & Luciana just translated his nonsense instead of letting his hand get cut off. She had just mentioned how expendable he was & here she was helping him to give away her medicine. Dumb.

Meanwhile Madison & Strand get drunk, start making noise & playing piano! While there are zombies everywhere. The drug dealer supermarket & the death cult are just unrealistic things that wouldn't happen. There's just too much dumb stuff on this show.

We don't care about any of these characters because they are all just awful dumb people. The show would be better if the family was together & they just met up with different people each episode trying to survive but they get eaten by zombies.

Legacy

The Last Ship
S03E11
Season 3 Episode 11

This was another good episode.

Peng is really awful, he was going to destroy Japanese history. I don't know why he didn't just set it all on fire but I guess he wanted to enjoy destroying that stuff. It was cool to see Takehaya impale Peng with that historical sword.

At 1st I was annoyed that Captain Slattery was able to fire the missile but then I remembered that they mentioned the Chinese ship was a rip-off of an American ship.

It was so frustrating that Kara didn't shoot Shaw but she was trying not to give away their position. At least Jacob redeemed himself a little before he died.

That coup of America with Shaw speaking on TV was shocking, it was like watching Order 66 get carried out, it was also a little depressing when the crew was like "we lost our country."

Going Out Fighting

Dark Matter
S02E09
Season 2 Episode 9

Terra!! It's basically Coruscant. It even has a space elevator, but somehow it doesn't have a space border patrol so criminal ships can just fly into orbit.

I liked that the scientists thought the retinal disguise machine was cool. It's too bad they killed that dude that was nice to 2.

I forgot about the blink drive. They just used it without checking if someone was in that hangar. Does it displace things like the Terminator time spheres? What was that thing that was in 3? Some alien? I expected that to be the next episode but they took care of it in this episode.

Are they going to get rid of 4? Why can't he just get Android & 5 to restore his memories? They were restored once before.

Johnny be Good

Killjoys
S02E9
Season 2 episode 9

I like that crazy truth serum that made Dutch vomit blood when she lied. Are those enzymes real?

I think the wall being overloaded by dead people didn't make much sense, neither did Pawter making old towners kill themselves after she was talking about not killing the security guards.

"What makes me happy is to live in a world where I can have my Dutch & eat my Pawter too"

I can't believe Delle Seyah stabbed Pawter like it was nothing & those stupid scarbacks were helping her. So much for the revolution & freedom of Westerly. I guess it makes sense considering how she killed that prince guy last episode.

"I don't wear pants, I'm a spaceship John."

So the company doesn't want strong workers for the mines? What are they even mining? Who thought that making a bunch of immortal killing machines is a good idea? It would be like creating an army of killer robots. It would make more sense if the 7 were planning on becoming immortal instead.

Maiden Quest

Grimm
S05E04

This was a terrible episode.

Instead of being an adult & talking to her dad, she instead kills 3 of her kind? including a gay guy who wasn't even interested in her & she also killed the guy who she actually cared about? Plus the dad was testing her anyway, hoping that she would kill the son of a District Attorney? That entire story made no sense.

The Grimm should have killed her for that, especially because it was hard to prosecute. They should have framed the known criminal, the way they did with Kenneth.

The only good part of the episode werer the domestic scenes. First there was Monroe & Rosalee with their cello music. Then there was Nick & Adalind getting closer to being a couple.

Nick got her his shirt to wear but no pants, it's already in his head. She didn't say anything about because it's in hers too.

I did not like Rosalee's letter from the past, it looked like a child wrote that letter. How did Trubel find his new apt? He made sure nobody knew where it was?

Canterlot Boutique

My Little Pony Friendship is Magic
S05E14

Rarity did not like making that princess dress over & over, they were so close to inventing the assembly line. That fashion reported was pretty funny. He was super excited about everything.

Sassy Saddles was right though, that name wasn't good.

I was worried she might be moving to Canterlot but no, Rarity is going to start a chain of clothing stores!

"Is this still on sale?"

Close Encounters

Limitless
S01E17

OMG his sister Rachel sucks. What the hell is wrong with her? She goes to his place & smokes pot out of a bong & then has the nerve to tell his parents that he's taking pills.

Then his mom who is also ok with her son when he's a stoner loser, has a problem that he's working for the FBI. Are his parents just a pair of anti-government hippies? Because his family has to be one of the worst on tv. They are only happy when he's wasting his life smoking pot.

He's a grown man, who cares if his mom doesn't want him in the house.

I think it's stupid that he's wasting pills to solve trivial street crime, but seeing as how his parents have such low expectations it's not a surprise that he would do that with his extra pills instead of trying to build a career in case Morra pulls the pills away.

Rebecca also over-reacted. She's surprised the drug user lied to her? Grow up.

I'm surprised that the research assistant released that bacteria into the air without testing it, it could have started the Planet of The Apes!

There Will Be Blood

From Dusk Till Dawn
S02E09

I like the way Kate told Richie that she wasn't leaving & ordered him to drive her back. That torture guy was pretty gross.

"Short round!"

Paloma was so dumb, she got turned & thought she could defeat La Diosa. Santánico's fight with Malvado was pretty good, but she almost lost.

Did they seriously kill Kate!?

Lost Boys

Grimm
S05E03

I think those kids were a little slow because they were too old to expect that kind of family stuff, but they were good actors, because I felt bad for them.

I'm glad Rosalee didn't end up adopting the girl, that would have been too much, but I could see them starting a home for Wesen kids maybe, couldn't she tell the council about them. Shouldn't they do that already?
What kind of an animal is an Apgadniek? Is he just like a dog or something like a mutt?

That warden though, he is bad news, I can just imagine him releasing a prison full of Wesen criminals as his army.

Nick slept in the same bed with Adalind, I was hoping a tear would go down his cheek, because his life has been turned upside down.

"I know it's cliche but such is life."

Meisner is not fighting Trubel.

I don't know how she can work & be safe, she is supposed to be hiding, but she should make herself useful somehow.

Favorite Son

Lucifer
S01E06

So much of this show makes no sense.

At the beginning of this episode he doesn't care that his stuff was stolen until Mazekeen points out how it hurts his reputation that it's ok to steal from Lucifer, but then at the end he is furious that his wings were stolen.

Lucifer is bored by the murder, even though in the last episode he was whining about how the murderers weren't scary.

He's crying to the psychologist that he was forced to do this job but every previous episode showed him giddy to punish bad guys. then he's whining that people blame him for the evil in the world but he's constantly pushing people to sin.

Of course the husband is the bad guy who is neglecting his family because the mom somehow never does stakeouts, even though they have the same job. She complains about him working too much but then she asks him to look into Lucifer.

The Unicorn King

She-Ra
S01E36

This episode was stupid. There were so many things wrong with this episode.

There's an island of winged unicorns? That means Swiftwind is no longer a unique creature.

The island also contradicts the fact that Swiftwind's wings only grow when She-Ra directs the power of Grayskull at him. That's not necessary if there are naturally existing winged unicorns. Now it makes it seem as if only She-Ra transforms & Swiftwind just takes off his disguise.

We also meet Brightwing. This guy can't fly because an evil human put a spell on him disabling his wings. This makes She-Ra less unique because she's not the only one who has a winged Unicorn.

They were on an island but instead of Hordak bringing Admiral Scurvy or Octavia he brought Mantenna with him.

The Last Temptation Of Richard Gecko

From Dusk Till Dawn
S02E08

Of course dumb Richie took Malvado's deal & went over to the dark side. I can't believe Seth killed Sonja.

Selfish Scott made his sister into a murderer, thanks bro. Oh noes, El Rinche!

So each Culebra has a unique power, like Twilight. Do they get their power right away or do they have to live for a long time until it manifests?

Sands, Agent of Morra

Limitless
S01E16

Not only did they film scenes using the styles of those directors, the fake comic books were also done in the styles of comic book artists!

I can't believe they did that. I recognized a few,  of course they were DC covers because it's a CBS show.

I liked how it started as two apparently unrelated cases. I also like that Mike & Ike are getting bigger parts on the show.

Grotesque

Fear The Walking Dead
S02E08
Season 2 Episode 8

I think this show should keep the family separate & slowly kill them all off. I don't see any way they can re-unite unless they all try to go back to the US & border patrol sticks everyone into some containment area.

They barely explained who that woman was at the beginning. I can't believe he didn't fight that woman who woke him up. At least to get his stuff. Then after that he actually slept on the ground again, you would think he would have learned to find a safer place to sleep after that.

Nick made 1 dumb mistake after another. I'm pretty sure you can drink out of a cactus but he ate it & then drank his own pee.

Those dumb dogs, that herd of zombies was probably following them. Shouldn't he have gotten infected eating that tainted meat? Why did those people choose to help him?

I think this might be the last season for me.

Clear and Wesen Danger

Grimm
S05E02

Captain Renard is acting like a police captain. Seriously, Nick needs to take some time off.

I knew that Hexenbiest suppression spell was going to wear off eventually. Adalind has been very normal. I liked the scene of them talking about sandwiches. It sure seems like they are going to make her part of the cast. Although she seems to be less interested in Diana now. Adalind did sort of confirm my theory that being a Hexenbiest makes you into a bitch.

I'm worried that Juliette is in that cell, not Diana, and that Meisner is training her to join them because there would be no reason for him to be fighting Trubel.

That was funny when Adalind was like 'Grimmenbiest? HexenGrimm?' Can't she go back to her day job before everything went crazy? How can she expect Nick to support 3 people now on a detective's salary.

I like that nerdy guy as a murderous Quijada Vil, whatever that is. I hope these claw people are coming after the keys.

Scuttle

The Last Ship
S03E10
Season 3 Episode 10

This episode was nuts.

On the ship, Chandler got arrested then he pulled a mutiny! He made a deal with pirates, then they got arrested, then they were released with empty guns to help with the mutiny. It's too bad they couldn't convince that other captain but he was also right, you are supposed to follow orders.

The coup is still going on & the president tried to talk some sense into Shaw but she didn't care. Those regional guys want the country to dissolve & have separate countries just like in Revolution. They even started building walls!

Kara was smart enough to not trust kate & got the Jacob to help her! I did not expect that Jacob would turn into someone we would have to depend on. The IT guy also became her ally. The fake government then blamed the murders from last episode on Kara & Jacob! I liked that the crew's families are sort of friends now.

Is next season going to be the American Civil War II?

Stuff To Steal, People To Kill

Dark Matter
S02E08
Season 2 Episode 8

"We went 1.2 miles"

A Mirror Mirror episode! The other universe they are not happy that the Raza is blinking all over the place & destroying things.

I like that they went back to the pilot with the Miners, & Jace launched a nuke to kill everyone! I wonder if he's on that marauder with FTL that blinked with them? Who else was crazy enough to do that?

There were two bad guys from season 1 who were on the ship, 3 cheats on 2 with Tash & they have S&M sex. I recognized the guy, Wexler from last season but I had to look up who Tash was.

Delany Truffault of the Mikkei Combine was the one who gave them the prison plans with her eyes & then she used them when she MIB'd them. So she's some kind of cyborg.

Did 2 tweak the android? Are her nanobots breaking down?

Full Metal Monk

Killjoys
S02E08
Season 2 Episode 8

I liked that they brought back the jail guard & also how he spit out the Gluten but didn't care about the rat meat like he was John Spartan. At least they explained why the people in Old Town are ok with the wall & how they aren't losing weight, rat burgers!

"You're my 'thing', Johnny."

It's too bad they didn't show more of Johnny & Dutch. She was right, Johnny went behind her back & that was really lame. They are supposed to be a team & he's doing stupid things just for Pawter. It doesn't make any sense. It seems like Jelco is working with Delle to overthrow the 9 because he actually killed Dolls & is framing Pawter for it.

It sure looks like Anneela is Dutch's sister Death was calling Khlyen "father" so that might be it, she could still be a clone though.

Gateway

Colony
S01E10

This was a pretty good season finale.

The city was about to be destroyed & we found out that Dallas is a" flat sheet of glass." They keep showing how the resistance fighters are just terrorist idiots. They were so dumb & surprised that the mid-day curfew was because of them, that a building was destroyed & people were being rounded up. we've already seen them kill other cells & not care about innocents who get shot in the crossfire.

I guess stupidity runs in the family, Bram decided to run through the tunnel with his teacher to get supplies when the city is on lock-down & swarming with drones. He abandoned his little sister & his nephew & now he's going to the moon. Katie accomplished nothing & ended up in the house all alone being watched by someone.

Things are going to get worse now. Things might turn into Santa Monica where people are robbing each other for food.

The dad is the only one who cares about his family. Not sure how he's going to find his kid, but I would think he would need a pass for his son too. Maybe not.

Beau is gone, it's too bad, they could have done more with him.Maybe they will get to his cabin next season. But it looks like he's been replaced by Jennifer now that she's on the inside. I doubt she will be able to save Bram.

Black Snow

She-Ra
S01E58

Episode 58 is meant to be watched after Episode 34 because that's the order they are in on the DVDs.

I like that we finally got to see Frosta's people from the Snow Kingdom. They turned out to be Vikings. Their enemies from Galacia were really just Seal-Men so it's kind of weird that they were called Selkies.

I liked how Frosta was shooting ice slides like Ice Man.

Multibot doesn't look anything like the toy & he really is a goofy robot, but somehow She-Ra was never in the same scene with him. I don't like how she turned her sword into a "magnet & line." She should have just attacked Modulok's weather wheel with her regular sword.

Small Time Heroes

Avengers Assemble
S02E16

I really liked seeing Absorbing man & Titania.

I did not like how they were able to defeat the Absorbing Man so easily after he absorbed Mjolnir. When that happens, it's usually a really good fight but it was over way too fast, despite what that reporter said.

It was funny to see Stark's stuff failing

Aim is back. It was pretty crazy that MODOK was using the Pym particles to make his body big. Giant Man MODOK was ok, but I much prefer the MODOK from Secret Wars. This one was just like a generic Giant Man.
