S02E13
Well, they obviously thought there would be another season because this story didn't really end.
I liked that Noma betrayed everyone again for wings, I think it's funny that her evil wings are white (I was hoping she would have demon wings). David finally evicted more 8balls instead of shooting them. He should have done more of that this season, he should have evicted each 8ball he came across & they should have figured out a way to do it without CGI.
It was really annoying how the end of this episode had Julian randomly interupting the action with some nonsensical monologue. They also unnecesarily retconned the show into not being a sequel to the movie.
The worse part is that they killed Claire but didn't kill the old men. General Riesen & David Wheele are still alive, which is stupid. The 8-balls should have killed David, they didn't know who he was or considered him important. Dumas should have been evicted by David & then died.
It's too bad it wasn't renewed. They could have abandoned Vega. David could have taken his followers to Helena & totally disrupted their girl city with Arika. They could have introduced demons. They could have made Lucifer be a wild card & Gabriel go evil again. There's so much they could have done.

S02E12
The sword fight was pretty good, but I am bummed that those red angels are nowhere to be seen this season. Yay, stupid William is finally dead, but David waited until after the walls are disabled. At that point, why bother? Looks like Daddy Riesen led the angels into the bus tunnel.
It didn't make sense that Claire would just let Arika leave for Helena after she was working with David. Claire should have forced Arika to help protect the city somehow.
It seems like they skipped a few steps from Revelations. Is that what the 7th seal does?
At least we'll get a showdown with Lucifer next episode, that should be interesting.

That 1st scene of total chaos with people randomly killing each other & themselves was really well done. The amphora worked pretty fast on those people. I was annoyed at David talking to evil David. I never like that device where a character "talks" to themselves. They should have had Gabriel deliver those lines. Everyone else's nightmare was good though.
Poor Lady Riesen & her miscarried baby dream. It's not clear if Claire went across the street or up the road. Now we know what happened to William. Eating rats is gross, even if he isn't in San Angeles. Those 8-balls really tortured him, why did they let him leave? Maybe he killed them & escaped. Maybe he'll kill himself now that he remembers. I can hope. Poor Noma & her wings & Michael really cares about Alex. "Oops."
I liked how Alex was able to turn the amphora into dust. "Well, that was rather quick" It was as if once Alex stops the war, there will be no further need for those things to even exist.

Yay Gates is dead. He was extra annoying in this episode. Especially calling Alex "kid" because isn't Lady Riesen basically the same age as Alex? It made Gates even more gross.
I like that they introduced demons. I was wondering where they were in all this, I assumed just enjoing the chaos. So Lucifer is killing angels with the bonfire, but why protect the town? Why not let the humans weaponize it? Did not like the card game.
I like that David killed that assassin girl. I did not understand why he was trying to get his loser son to go with him. William is so useless. It would be nice if there were religious characters that weren't annoying wack jobs like William. I'm hoping Noma's wings grow back somehow.
Evil Gabriel doesn't mess around. Sorry General Riesen, your 8ball girlfriend (who for some reason doesn't act like the others) is dead. Now he is destroying Vega too.

Ouch, Claire had to see Alex kiss Noma on the monitor while everyone else watched. Really dude?, you were a soldier there, did you forget they have video cameras??
Not happy that Gates cured himself, he's annoying. I liked how Claire ignored him. He needs to learn his place. Where did he get that book on poisons, he's supposed to be a tech guy? Did he go to Hogwart's? How is Michael being affected by the pyro-sheriff? is that guy really a prophet?
Well, turns out Gabriel is pretty powerful. He repelled Lyrae & even mind-controlled him to stab himself. Why didn't he do that before?? Is it because he now has that black oil in his eyes? (Maybe Scully can stop him.)
Who is that woman killing people to get to David? I totally forgot who she is & who she's working for, but I know not to get in her way.

I really liked that they showed a little of the angel invasion. The Extermination War moved pretty fast.
Gullible Gabriel. I guess if you are being tortured you'll start to believe anything. After watching a similar torture technique applied to Theon Greyjoy, I was afraid of what might happen but luckily for him, Gabriel is still a man. I liked the beheading with a chainsaw.
Yay Zoe is dead! She's so stupid. Lady Riesen took her out without mercy. She does not want to hear any excuses. I was hoping Giles would yell "it's a trap!" but no luck. It's too bad the crazy son is back. I was hoping he was dead too. It looks like he's going to impersonate Alex? ugh.
Now that the general is a diad. How do they switch who is in control? or is it like being Firestorm?

Not happy with this episode. The only good thing was that pyro-sheriff from Black Sails.
I wish they wouldn't change stories from the bible. Like how they changed the flood to actually be Michael killing almost everyone on earth (um, what about Noah & his ark?). It is unnecessary. Now they made Gabriel into the father of David from "David & Goliath". They could have made just as good a story without doing that.
Then there were the terrible scenes at the hardware store. Not a fan of the angels behaving like zombies. It was just dumb. Beep.
At least the Claire/Zoe story was better. Does Zoe even know what she wants? Does she have a proposal for a better government? I doubt it.

Zoe is so rash & stupid. I can't wait for David to kill her or replace her with someone else. She is too dumb to keep around. I hope he betrays her & figures out a way to re-join Claire or Arika somehow. Seriously Claire? How long did she mourn before she moved on? 2 weeks? Ugh.
Noma noooo. What was she thinking? Alex's tattoos move, there could have been another solution. Sorry Gabriel, you're on your own.

Really David? You had to literally divide the city & start a civil war, it's not like mankind is fighting angels! How selfish can these idiots be? Empyrean steel barb wire nets were pretty cool. "I have enemies to defeat, from the biggest to the smallest" but is betraying his angel friends a good idea? Alex is making all the wrong choices. He's going to get pwned by Lyrae.
I knew that Helena woman couldn't be trusted. I thought Arika poisoned Lady Riesen at breakfast so I was surprised she was pregnant. How is Helena going to transport all their people to Vega? Where is Helena, anyway?

No way is Uriel dead, Gabriel is probably lying to Michael. I wonder if those jars are in the bible. With an entire army of 8balls at New Delphi I can only hope for a big battle scene at the season finale.
David taking over the revolution makes sense. I thought he was going to kill them or turn them in, maybe he'll betray them at the last minute. I did not like Lady Riesen kissing that baseball guy.

Lady Riesen is bad-ass! When she gave that guy a look for calling her Claire! She is smart too. "I know how to use a gun" yes she does, pew pew!
For a minute there I thought Michael was going to become an 8 ball or a higher angel but he seemed to be fine. I'm guessing it restored his faith. I hope we're done with that town. They should go back & explain the fire later this season. I totally forgot about the general.

You can't kill someone thinking you can confess & everything will be fine. That is not how confession works. Especially if you kill a WWE diva. I guess Alex is going to evict a bunch of 8-balls in that weird room in New Delphi, "two men enter, 1 man leaves!"
What kind of shotgun shells were those? (I need closed captioning) I think Claire wasn't thinking long term, she should have be-friended David & learned from him. This was a bad idea to frame him.
