AKA Playland

Jessica Jones
S02E13
Season 2 Episode 13

What a terrible season finale.

Sure Trish shooting the mom was shocking, but before that & after that, the episode was just dumb. The only other good thing is that Trish is going to finally be Hellcat next season. It looks like she now has cat like reflexes.

She's supposed to be super-strong & she didn't even carry the wife from the car accident? The super-strong mom didn't carry the male driver either. It was a glaring screw up in a superhero tv show.

The Hogarth stuff was boring. Nobody cares about that stuff unless she becomes a superhero law firm. At least she mentioned the Rand corporation. And nobody cares about Malcolm, his haircuts or his suits.

Then it ended with her having dinner with the super & his kid? Not her wanting to be a vigilante but her wanting to be a wife & mother. I endorse that 100% but it also makes me laugh at the feminists who realized that when they watched that last scene.

AKA Pray for My Patsy

Jessica Jones
S02E12
Season 2 Episode 12

This episode was so boring. This whole season gets worse with each episode & I'm glad it's almost over. I really hope they don't make another season.

The cops should have shot Jessica's mom more. How could that girl cop be dumb enough to not make the mom lie face down on the floor. And now that cop is dead. Once again, female creators of this season, good job killing another woman!

I liked the conversation where Trish told Jessica that she's a coward & is wasting her powers. If they make a season 3 of this boring show, maybe it will be Jessica trying to be a hero.

She should have had some other way to restrain her stupid mom. Of course the mom jumps at the chance to knock Jessica unconsicous. Thanks mom.

The only good part was watching Hogarth set up Green with the gun to shoot Ryback. It was obvious she was conning the con woman, but it was still good.

AKA Three Lives and Counting

Jessica Jones
S02E11
Season 2 Episode 11

My favorite part of this feminist show is how the mom is a crazy woman who overreacts to every little thing and is a psycho who can't control her emotions. like I said before, we don't care about her mom, she's a psycho & in this episode killed the guard who was nice to her. She's a stereotype of girls. This is the season with each episode directed & written by girls. Good job ladies, girl power!

I hate when characters talk to hallucinations and this episode has Jessica talk to Purple Man. They had to bring back Killgrave because this show has become so boring. I like that he pointed out how she's now killed 3 people. The prison guard, Purple Man & Power Man's wife. Then she made it look like a suicide. She's a mess, why does she have her own show? Where is Misty Knight??

Ducasse is so annoying, yelling at her like he's the guy in charge, when he's just a junkie making bad mistakes. He got knocked out by Trish & thrown in a trunk. Hopefully Trish becomes Hellcat now thanks to Malus because this show is so boring.

AKA Pork Chop

Jessica Jones
S02E10
Season 2 Episode 10

This episode was terrible.

Not only has this mom storyline proven to be incredibly boring, they are now trying to make this murderer sympathetic. Like we are going to feel bad for her? We've seen her murder people & threaten Trish.

I support the corrections officer in this situation & of course they invent this insane thing that he fakes suicides & kills inmates? Just nonsense. And Arocho is now making another illegal passport for the doctor.

The best part was Hogarth being robbed by the nurse & the criminal.

AKA Shark in the Bathtub, Monster in the Bed

Jessica Jones
S02E09
Season 2 Episode 9

Now it makes a little more sense that Cheng was shooting at Alisa. He didn't want any cops to get hurt arresting her, but he was going to murder someone, how was he going to explain that?

This show is so misandrist. The mother kidnaps Vito but can the show say that the kid belongs with his dad? No way. Instead they have Jessica say "you're his mother, that will never change." Wrong, there are plenty of people who disown their mothers, for less than what they do on this show.

And Psycho Alisa thinks she can be the She-Hulk? At least Jessica did the right thing at the end & turned in her murderous mom to the police.

Duh Hellcat, of course the inhaler was going to run out of drug at some point. Dumb addict.

AKA Ain't We Got Fun

Jessica Jones
S02E08
Season 2 Episode 8

I don't know what Jessica is thinking bringing her mom, the rage monster, to her apt. I can just see her killing the super or the super's kid. So stupid. She hasn't seen her mom in 17 years, she's not her mom anymore, she's basically a stranger & definately the murderer of her ex-boyfriend. I like that they mentioned The Raft. I'm curious who's shooting at her though. that was unexpected.

I like how Malcolm used the gay bar to get even more dirt on the other partner. That was really smart. I thought he was just screwing up, which seemed really weird.

What happened with the healer guy? Did he heal her? Did Hogarth feel herself get better?

Of course the nurse is a lesbian, every girl on tv is a lesbian these days, ugh.

AKA I Want Your Cray Cray

Jessica Jones
S02E07
Season 2 Episode 7

This flashback episode wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Jessica's mom is a total psycho & I don't see why they've kept her alive all this time. I was hoping we would see the healer who saved the nurse, instead they showed us the other nurse getting her head twisted around & the psycho mom killing Jessica's boyfriend.

Sure Stirling was a loser con man, but Jessica loved him & it was pretty sad when she found him dead in the alley.

I'm glad that Jessica punched her mom when she heard the story.

AKA Facetime

Jessica Jones
S02E06
Season 2 Episode 6

It was obvious they were going to make her Jessica's mom a few episodes ago. Lame. It wasn't shocking at all. They should have focused on the healer guy that Inez was talking about. That's way more interesting. Does he suffer the symptoms of the person he's curing? Or is it like the healing girl who was on Misfits? A healing guy would be way more important & valued than anyone other super.

Trish banging Malcolm was ridiculous & made no sense. I thought that Malcolm could recognize that she was on something. That is just such a stupid development.

They should have gotten another actor to play Justis Ambrose, because that guy has the biggest most disgusting moobs I've ever seen. It was so distracting, I thought it was a girl.

AKA The Octopus

Jessica Jones
S02E5
Season 2 Episode 5

This episode was pretty boring. I knew right away that Hogarth wanted that gene-editing tech to save herself. They are going into territory that the comics don't: curing real diseases with super-hero tech. Coulson was brought back from the dead, so they sure can cure ALS.

That entitled mom just barging in with her crying baby was nuts. Who does that? She's lucky she left before wig lady smashed her instead of the piano.

I like how Jessica insulted Cheng. That guy is becoming really annoying.

Trish's mom is right. She's a spoiled brat, still chasing a career even though she found the perfect man. What a moron. I also don't get why they are making her take drugs instead of becoming Hellcat. They are really making her unlikable now.

AKA God Help the Hobo

Jessica Jones
S02E04
Seasson 2 Episode 4

I can't believe the super turned into a gentleman & didn't sleep with her. A man his age who is divorced can't be that stupid & naive about women.

i like that the kid is asking all the questions that a normal kid would ask. I seriously don't get how other people aren't curious. She should have just told him, then the kid wouldn't have almost died. Maybe they should watch their kid better.

What is the point of Malcolm being on Tinder? Who cares.

So Hogarth wants to kill herself? Insulting the person who you want help from doesn't usually work. What is Cheng doing? This seems like a poorly thought out story & why is the wig lady protecting Jessica, please tell me she's not her mom.

AKA Sole Survivor

Jessica Jones
S02E03
Season 2 Episode 3

This was a good episode, but mostly because there are the other storylines going on at the same time, the Hogarth ALS & the super who wants her away from his son.

If everyone is starting to recognize her, maybe they'll put her in a mask. What is wrong with her? Does she fall out of bed every night?

Finally someone mentioned Captain America, the kid also mentioned the aliens. That wasn't so hard.

I like that Hogarth is still a bi+¢h to Foggy. I didn't expect to see him & didn't even recognize him. Did he lose weight?

Who is that crazy old lady with super strength? Let's see some more fighting!

AKA Freak Accident

Jessica Jones
S02E02
Season 2 Episode 2

I'm not excited about this origin story. It seems like it's going to take all season. Origin stories are usually boring. Who cares how it all started. Especially if they don't tie into someone trying to re-create the super-soldier formula.

When is Trish going to turn into Hellcat? I didn't expect them to kill Nuke like that. He was barely in this episode.

I am loving how this episode is totally anti-feminist. The guy says "nice ass" to her & instead of a stupid speech or her beating him up, they bang in the bathroom. Then she insults the superindentent's masculinity & he's like 'wrong, I'm fighting my ex-wife for custody of my son & I'm not going to lose him in order to be a white knight for you," it was really good.

Does anyone really care that Hogarth had a foursome with some hookers (no, we don't). Sorry but 15 year old girls are not innocent angels. I remember what those girls were like & they are even worse these days. So Malcolm punching him was really stupid.

AKA Start at the Beginning

Jessica Jones
S02E01
Season 2 Episode 1

I forgot how frustrating it is to watch this show. Why do people like this character? You have to suffer through a lot of idiocy just to hear her acerbic comments & sarcastic insults, it's almost not worth it. She's like a child who doesn't want to grow up. I feel like I'm watching my ex girlfriend on tv, but with super strength.

I forgot all about the IGH stuff & they don't even seem to be mentioning the Defenders, so does this take place before the Defenders? That is not clear at all. The Whizzer? Seriously? He's in the Squadron Supreme, why are they wasting him on this show?

The Cheng guy was good, but the feminist garbage was everywhere. He's successful & said that worn out phrase that he "won't take 'no' for an answer" - standard business jargon that is so over-used it's virtually meaningless - but now it's suddenly "ray-pee" and of course the stupid girl power speech from Hogarth at the luncheon. Ugh, this season is not off to a good start.

AKA Smile

Jessica Jones
S01E13

Night Nurse! Thanks, but no, don't call your friend.

The voice over at the end was pretty funny considering she told Purple Man that you don't even out all the bad you've done by doing good. & yet, she's trying to do exactly what he suggested when he said:

"Do the moral math. How many more lives would I have to save to get back to zero?"

and she replied:

"Saving someone doesn't mean unkilling someone else."

I was waiting for someone to remember that earplugs exist. I guess that blatant product placement was more important.

Is IGH short for Inhuman Growth Hormone? Did Jessica get her powers when she went to Tahiti? (It's a magical place)

Even though she's dumb, I liked the show. She's basically a 1-note character so I have no idea what they would do in another season.

AKA Take a Bloody Number

Jessica Jones
S01E12

Her fight with Power Man was pretty good, it's too bad it happened in the dark. But Purple Man got away. How is she going to find him now?

That was good how he increased his power. She did not expect that, she should stop watching Buffy.

"Bye Rueben. I hope they have free express shipping in heaven."

I had to laugh when they showed Luke Cage with his shirt off, as if he was supposed to be sexy, but he looked pregnant. I know he works at a bar, but lay off the beers, buddy.

Purple Man ordered Power Man to "take a bloody number" & he didn't. Stupid writers. Purple Man just told us that he has to be careful how he talks to people because they will do what he says literally.

I can't believe Jessica checked for a pulse when that guy had gardening scissors sticking out of his head, how dumb is she? She should give people ear plugs or have him meet her at a school for the deaf, duh.

The girls on this show don't seem to be able to explain things to anyone. Jessica tells the police to leave? If that worked, criminals would be doing that all the time. Explain to the cop what's going on, dummy. Only 1 episode left.

AKA I've Got the Blues

Jessica Jones
S01E11

The flashbacks were interesting & I liked how the stupid crazy neighbor girl told the junkie to kill himself. He really should.

That was a pretty good fight between the cop & Jessica & Hellcat. Even though they turned the cop into a bad guy, he's not wrong. Jessica keeps getting in the way & Hellcat is blinded by her friendship.

If she were a good pi, she could have had the cop find surveillance footage of where Purple Man went. She just assumed he would have killed his dad right away, which was a dumb assumption; of course he's going to torture his dad. Then she had to use Trish to get into the morgue. She's just terrible at being a PI & a hero.

Luke is back, that doesn't make things easier because he's not immune; Purple Man could just use Power Man to kill Not-Diamond.

AKA 1,000 Cuts

Jessica Jones
S01E10

The writers are only good at writing Purple Man & Jessica because they suck at writing everyone else in a believable manner.

I love that Purple Man called Jessica dumb, she really is. I really felt bad for Wendy, that was a terrible way to go but at least she got to give Trinity a few of those cuts. Pam was using sex to manipulate Trinity in the last episode so it made no sense for her to be judging Trinity in this one. Trinity should have just told her what happened, instead she says "it's complicated" which is 1 of the stupidest phrases in modern english.

Once again the sister from upstairs was weird & unrealistic. Suddenly the junkie is a functioning member of society, except when he admits to being an accomplice to murder loudly in a restaurant to a bunch of strangers. Then they agree to follow the sister, another stranger, to beat up some random girl, instead of calling the police.

It was so dumb that Hope killed herself. She tried so hard to get out of prison & when she is out, she kills herself? That was idiotic, nobody would do that.

Jessica's strength is really inconsistent. If she's strong enough to carry a guy & leap small houses in a single bound, she should be able to rip a pipe off the ceiling faster, especially with the extra weight of 4 adults already straining it.

I was shocked at the cop shooting the detective; he was so close to retiring, lol

AKA Sin Bin

Jessica Jones
S01E09

Wow, Jessica really is dumb. I thought she knew she was immune to him & was just scared of him because her PTSD & that he could control other people. It was obvious she broke his control when she killed Luke's wife & also in the police station when she didn't laugh. I can't believe they showed the arm grab again in slow motion, like the audience was too dumb to have realized it by now.

For a PI who works with a lawyer she also doesn't seem to understand how the law works. Like a judge is going to be ok with her kidnapping & torturing someone? Did she think she could just edit that out of the video? & would Trinity have to turn it on anyway? It should have been on the whole time.

"I wish I had a Mother of the Year award so I could bludgeon you with it"

Despite Jessica not being too bright, this was a great episode. Watching Purple Man reacting to the video of his childhood, learning about his parents, his conversation with them, they made you feel sympathy for him. Their description of Purple Man as a child reminded me of the description of a male confessor from Legend of The Seeker. Then this episode got even better when he got mad & everything went sideways. It all happened so fast & for a minute I thought Hellcat was going to die & the old cop was going to rip his skin off. Such a great ending.

AKA WWJD?

Jessica Jones
S01E08

I liked seeing how Purple Man's scientist parents experimented on him & turned him into a villain. I liked seeing Purple Man work with her, it reminded me of season 1 Heroes where they worked together to save the people from that car crash, because 1 person's powers are not enough. I also like that she did consider rehabilitating him. The problem is, he wasn't wrong about the hostage guy.

"Bitches right? I'm on it."

She really had no plan. She is terrible at this. Luckily the cop was there or the bodyguard would have shot her. It was dumb that she told PurpleMan about the bomb, she could have used that as a Plan B, instead she let Purpleman know that the cop was around & she's responsible for the dead neighbor.

"I'm going to have to ask you to say that in cash."

Of course the bomb in the bag made no sense. His power wears off after a few hours so how would he know if & when the cop would show up again? Was he calling her every 12 hours just in case? Plus he just got drugged so I thought his powers should have stopped immediately, I guess not. Who buried the yellow flash drive & why was Luke's Wife involved?

AKA Top Shelf Perverts

Jessica Jones
S01E07

This episode was not very good.

The only thing that saved it was Killgrave (He's purpleman! Now I get it, I never knew Purpleman's real name even though I just read that Purpleman story about his kids in Daredevil, pre-Secret Wars). Thank goodness Purpleman showed up to threaten everyone in the precinct.

Jessica isn't very bright. I can't believe she ripped that guy's head off. What a stupid plan, to get sent to a supermax prison. She could just set up her own video cameras somewhere, duh.

The banana-bread sister was dumb, nobody talks like that. Does she have a job? She was so unrealistic I couldn't feel bad for her even knowing her brother is dead. Was he slow? When did that happen? He seemed pretty normal in other episodes. Some really bad characterization & writing with those two.

That was funny that she dropped Hogarth's wife at the beginning, but then it wasn't funny that Wendy fell on the rail. Jessica's lucky Wendy didn't hurt her back too much. I like that Wendy is blackmailing Trinity.
