Witness

12 Monkeys
S03E10
Season 3 Episode 10

This show is awesome! They were chasing each other across time. It was pretty cool.

Olivia is the witness & she stabbed Katerina!! Then she killed Athan!

That explains how Olivia was able to communicate with the witness without using technology. I really didn't like that, when they first introduced that but now we know she was taking her orders from her future self. Athan is not the evil witness.

"I'm a lot of things, kiddo. Brainiac mental patient, CEO/corporate terrorist, future-psychic gypsy pirate, but I ain't no squatter, bro."

I liked how Jennifer was like, let's fast forward through your recovery.

They didn't end up at the 1st episode of this season, so maybe that will happen next season? Because they seemed ok with it like there's a happy ending or something.

Thief

12 Monkeys
S03E09
Season 3 Episode 9

This was a good episode about Gaius Baltar.

We got to see Athan as he becomes bored with people, because to him they've been dead for centuries. So you think that is what makes him not care about people, but it's a girl who he falls in love with & then he visits his parents! I was sort of mad at him for judging his dad for what James had to do because of the damn virus. Then he gets the idea for the red forest with frozen time & immortal people from Cassie! What an insane loop.

I didn't like how Eliza was all self-righteous at him, because suddenly the thief girl is talking about godliness. I guess I can see it, but I didn't like it. I think most people would have asked Athan to help her dad from dying, not give him the pocketwatch.

Then he tries to save her life 607 times! That was nuts. I didn't like the destiny crap that they pulled though. It really was a bad idea. They finally sent Jennifer home so she can become old lady Jennifer closing another loop.

Masks

12 Monkeys
S03E08
Season 3 Episode 8

I'm so glad Cole jumped a few seconds into the past to help himself beat up Deacon, as they were fighting I was thinking he should do it & then he did it. Those 4D vests are so cool.

I forgot that Jennifer was there, so it was really cool how she showed up at the masquerade.

They are seriously trying to kill Cassie & Cole, even Dr Jones was ready to shoot them. I felt bad when Jones said she thought of Cole as a son.

It was pretty funny when Oliva told Jones to stop smoking. That's dumb that they put Jennifer in the cell although she did cause a paradox with the turtle.

Gaius Baltar is the witness!

Nurture

12 monkeys
S03E07
Season 3 Episode 7

They both have their paradox vests! We are catching up to episode 1! Keep your dumb splinter machine! This means they can raise their kid the right way & they will be able to keep living now that they will be out of the time stream somehow. They need to get him Ethan one, if it works on primaries.

I like that they pulled a Back to The Future 2 with them observing their past selves. I'm glad that Cole didn't kill his son, he seemed pretty close to it. In season 1 he had no problem killing all sorts of people & he's been reminding people of that this season, plus he did kill Ramse his brother. But how did they not kill that caretaker guy. Sure, he's not 100% a 12 monkey but he did take the kid away again.

"mind yourself" Take that Magdalena, lol.

I like the symbols, they seem to be setting something up for next season. I think it would be great if they prevent the virus but then have to deal with a fixed world that is trying to control time travel. But they can't afford something like that.

Nature

12 Monkeys
S03E06
Season 3 Episode 6

I can't believe that Cassie told Agent Gale how he dies. Cole realized that is didn't change anything so they created another causal loop. At some point they have to win or else, the 12 Monkeys will have sort of accomplished their goal with nothing changing & time stopping.

I am not a goddamned red shirt! I have a purpose!

Deacon was not happy finding out that he's not that important, he's not even on the temporal map.

So they started the 12 Monkey cult in the 50s huh? I guess with that advanced technology & how religious it was back then, it easier to turn people.

I can't believe Cole is talking about killing his own son. He should be figuring out a way to talk to him, or have Jennifer talk to him, so that he can travel in time & kidnap his son from those 4 vest people, before he gets this old.

Jennifer really needs to return that turtle before she creates an aberration.

Causality

12 Monkeys
S03E05
Season 3 Episode 5

This was a funny heist episode, which is good, because the last one was a little dark. The security guards were pretty funny too.

I like how they were dressed when they showed up at the hotel in their 80s outfits. Deacon was like Miami Vice, Jennifer was like Cyndi Lauper & I'm not sure who Cassie was dressed as. But they shouldn't have dressed Cole as Marty McFly, if Doc Brown is going to be on the show. That's stupid. I hate when shows do that.

"My diary. Turns out, I was writing about the future in the past tense. Hashtag primary problems."

Jennifer looked like she stepped out of Dynasty when she was dressed as her mom.

When deacon did the robbery, he changed the timeline & Olivia remembered.

Brothers

12 Monkeys
S03E04
Season 3 Episode 4

Oh no Ramse is dead? He asked to remain dead so maybe he will. Obviously, they can go visit him in the past, but he's dead in the present & Cole shot him. That was terrible. Ramse can be so stupid sometimes he even killed some innocent doctor who looked like Cassie.

I wish Cole had beat up Olivia at least a little. He shot his brother because of her. So glad that Cole was smart enough to give him that false lead. That flashback to when they were kids was weird though, I don't remember them being 5 years apart in age like that. I liked the bakery puns.

I liked how Jennifer had her daughters ready to shoot Olivia. I remember seeing that temporal map, but I forgot when they showed it to us.

Enemy

12 Monkeys
S03E03
Season 3 Episode 3

Oh no, Ramse is being crazy again. He thinks killing Cassie is going to reset time so that his son doesn't die? How stupid is he? He needs to kill Olivia before she kidnaps his son. What a moron.

Ugh, I really really hate when they have someone hallucinate somebody & talk to them. There's got to be a better way to do that. I've never been a fan of Deacon, I guess he was in there for those 4 months that we jumped through in the 1st episode, maybe longer.

Omg, somebody knock out Hanna. She threatens a man's life to save Olivia from a little torture? So stupid. Olivia can stop the torture by talking. Thanks to her, Cole sent Olivia to eat rats in a box in darkness all alone for 3 months. Take that Hanna.

Guardians

12 Monkeys
S03E02

Seaseon 3 Episode 2

Jennifer was right, that was really inconsiderate & mean of them. They didn't care about her at all. I started to feel bad for her, she was a POW in WWI & had to learn French & was homeless. She had a pretty rough 5 years there. Even with recording an album!

Her doing Jaws, E.T. & Alien on stage in French with just cardboard was really funny. Especially when she was doing 12 Monkeys to a small audience & her saying that smart people will understand it.

I really like the way that they are dealing with paradoxes, no time remnants on this show, just Magdalena resetting the timeline. It's how I used my Silverhawks Flashback, except the one from the future would kill the one in the past. I like the way they are doing it here too, it prevents the existence of parallel timelines.

Ramse had to kill his own son? I would have strangled Olivia.

Mother

12 Monkeys
S03E01
Season 3 Episode 1

I'm glad Cole send that dumb girl back in time, but him letting her punch him when he got back was stupid. I hope he beats her up again. I was wondering who that person with light up vest was. When Cole got saved at Titan,I realized it was him. The Anti-Paradox vest is pretty cool.

So they just jumped 4 months so that Cassie could give birth to the witness. How strange that they already worship him when he was just born in there present, which means the adult witness from the future came back in time to start his cult. Possibly before he was even born. Crazy!

I did not expect to see Cassie at the end! that was great, I hope they planned out this season. It's going to be really cool to see them end up at this 1st episode later in the season. I also hope Cassie gets to murder that Magdalena. She just reset time, I'm surprised that Cassie remembered what happened before the reset. How is that possible, if the servant girl didn't remember?

Memory of Tomorrow

12 Monkeys
S02E13

What a great season finale. I'm so glad this show is renewed.

I knew the bad guys were from the future & they had their own time machine! I just didn't expect Titan to be an enormous time traveling mini-city. That was crazy.

It was so sad that Cole had to sacrifice his relationship with Cassie to stop the paradox, but somehow she remembers & somehow she's still pregnant! What! That must be because of their time serum stuff I guess.

I really liked Jennifer's speech that used parts of Lord of The Rings, Braveheart & ID4! She was so funny, she even referenced Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

Then that crazy tall guy showed up & that woman is bringing Ramse to his son.

Blood Washed Away

12 Monkeys
S02E12

This was a really good episode but some parts didn't make any sense.

"Where are you right now? Somewhere warm? Safe? Next to someone you love?"

Cassie & Cole are finally together. I was not happy that he abandoned her in the hospital, I get it but I didn't like it. I'm glad she remembered his alias. I really like how so much of their time in that house was from the speech from that evil woman. 1 of them might be the witness, but I don't even care. I am just enjoying the time travel stuff. I am curious how the world didn't end when they failed to stop the paradox.

I know that Cole & Cassie were living in the 50s for months & he became friends with that guy, but he should have shot them before they created the paradox. His aim isn't that good, they may not have died. Also why didn't Ramse shoot the witness, he was supposed to be angry & looking for revenge. They traveled for months & he almost killed that daughter to do it but then he stops at the last minute. I really liked the way he easily beat the crap out of that mouthy woman & put her in her place.

What were those crazy blades & those symbols. The finale should be really good.

Resurrection

12 Monkeys
S02E11

Another great episode.

Ramse & some people tried to pull a coup & I like that he actually talked to Cole & tried to resolve things but then when they had their standoff, Cassie attacked him! Then that doctor that helped them last time got shot. Then old Jennifer got shot.

It was pretty cool to see Jennifer talk to Jennifer. I really like that they went into the past to get 2016 Jennifer to replace 2044 Jennifer & this time young Jennifer is going to take Ramse to the Witness instead of like last time 2044 happened!! because obviously old Jennifer went back to 2016 so she could get old! Crazy!

"Let's go save the wo-" *vomits*

My favorite part was where Cassie changed her mind & she didn't even have to tell Ramse, she just gave him that look & he stopped the car so she could join Cole in 1957. Now they have to change things because the time storm killed Dr. Jones!

Fatherland

12 Monkeys
S02E10

They had a good misdirect when they created the CIA report in 1961 that they read in 2044, but then Dr. Leike really was working for the 12 monkeys. I need to re-watch some of these episodes because I'm a little confused about the Aryan super woman that he created.

I like how the FBI agent let slip that he met with Cole a bunch of times before 1961. At least Ramse got a piece of that weird time map with the location for Titan.

Even though they got closer to the Witness, Cole was not happy that they drugged & lied to him. I didn't think he would have them both arrested. I guess he has had enough.

Ramse & Cassie think that killing The Witness in the past would stop everything but they aren't thinking clearly, he could have that thing were time changes may no affect him in the future or time might keep him alive the way it kept Dr. Jones alive.

Hyena

12 Monkeys
S02E09

That tall guy is almost too evil of a bad guy. the way he barely reacted to all the punching. I'm glad he yelled when his fingers were broken. After watching The Blacklist, I knew that Cole should not have broken that tall guy's thumb even if he did forget Jennifer's advice to "watch the hands."

"It's like the A-Team with all Murdochs."

I liked that Jennifer was really distraught about all the people in the hospital who died because of her hyena team screw-up, unlike Arrow, where nobody cared that thousands of innocents were killed in a nuclear explosion.

I thought the witness was using the Jones time machine but from the future, it looks like they might have their own Mr. Dr. Jones Titan time machine. Why did Cole show up so soon & injured?

Lullaby

12 Monkeys
S02E08

What a great episode.

"Those two are like my best friends."

Cassie has really changed, she's just ready to shoot Dr. Jones in the face without hesitation, I guess the promise of returning to her life is enough to make her do it. I like that Cole just told her how he feels but her reason for saying no was pretty dumb.

"I'm in a reboot."

Jennifer Goines was great. She even did the weather forecast from Groundhog's day. They need to make her part of the team somehow, she's camped outside maybe she'll move in next season.

That's great that Dr. Jones has her daughter back. She realized what I did, that's it's all her fault. Her invention of time travel caused all of this.

"Why weren't you here yestertoday?"

Meltdown

12 Monkeys
S02E07

Somehow the Witness can have his consciousness travel through time, which is strange. He also may have his own time machine. I wonder if he's just using the same time machine but he lives further in the future.

Saul Tigh sacrificed himself to save Dr. Jones & everyone else. I'm not sure if she was being German, or trying to stop him when she said she didn't love him. It was pretty harsh either way.

Those soldiers from the 50s sure were annoying, didn't they realize the base looked weird? That sucks about those people who were sent through before Cole that were turned inside-out by the splintering.

I wish they hadn't of sent Ben time traveling, we already had Ramsey destroying the world for his son. I can only hope they did it so his growing up wouldn't ruin the show they way Walt did on Lost.

Immortal

12 Monkeys
S02E06

I like that the primary this time was a serial killer. It shows how random it can be & how some of them go the wrong way. Jennifer Goines isn't so bad now by comparison.

I'm getting the impression that they started time traveling to stop the plague but in doing so discovered all these unknown properties of time, like Primaries, etc & they caused/created the 12 Monkeys who were more interested in exploiting that, so the release of the virus was just to create time travel. Like the whole show is some big causal loop.

They saved Victoria & prevented the paradox so that red sky got a little less red.

How do they have all this information on that primary, how did they even know he was a primary?

Bodies of Water

12 Monkeys
S02E05

I like how time on this show doesn't have a lot of rules constraining it like LOT. This is more like The Butterfly Effect, where they can change the past & the future. The only paradox is when two things touch each other, not causal loops.

"Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!"

Jennifer was pretty good this episode. She even quoted transformers!

"She's got the touch, she's got the power."

The men were funny too. Deacon seems to be warming to Cole & Ramse, he must realize that they are both necessary.

"Hey look it's Time Jesus"

It's great how they can show Ramse & Cole be like brothers with just a few words.
"I can feel your breath on me."
"You like that?"

Aaron??! There is no way he can be the witness, I wonder though if they will bring him back somehow. Time evolves, so it's possible. Is Olivia paralyzed now?

Emergence

12 Monkeys
S02E4

This was a good episode with all sorts of explanations for things that have been happening.

The 12 monkeys are trying to destroy time for some reason, they probably unleashed the virus so that the time machine would be built so that they could destroy time by killing the primaries.
Stephanie Goines had Dr. Jones drink some Red Forest Time-Tea and Ramsey gave Dr. Reilly a good speech about Cole. They worked together a little better but she still hates him. I like that she isn't forgiving him so quickly, that she's still a doctor & mad about what he did.

I like that we saw some splintering from a normal person's pov, this time the FBI guy got to see it & he wrote down on the picture.

I like that they still have to stop the virus but now the 12 Monkeys are a real threat they have to stop, unlike the movie.
