I like that they showed another side to magic with Julia. It isn't an end in of itself.

Penny is still annoying as usual. He's complains that Quentin is sleeping with Alice then talks to Quentin as though Quentin hasn't made his feelings known.

The Dean was dropping some harsh reality on Quentin. It seems a little weird but I think that's because in the books the students were high school age instead of adults.

"There are no answers Quentin, because we have no idea what's going to happen next. Most likely outcome, especially now that he's gotten Eliza out of the way.  You die. Your friends die. We all die, very bloody. And all of this will have been for nothing."

Poor Eliot, He confides in that dude & then has to kill him. It was  pretty sad, but also cool. They need to show him use his powers more.

I can't believe that woman was Jane Chatwin this whole time. Quentin is not going to be happy when he finds out.
