I like that they gave another alternate explanation for the Crossing of the Delaware which is that it was how they got to that Hidden One dimension. Then they did it with design of the American flag, that the stripes can be used as musical lines & bullet holes were notes. Then that linked to Francis Scott Key. It reminded me of the 1st season & also National Treasure. The flag protecting monster didn't makes sense though, because the flag at Hamilton's house was fake so it shouldn't have even been there protecting a fake.
Once again they have someone easily accept the existence of the supernatural as though it's nbd. Only Grimm & Second Chance have handled it in a realistic way.
I really hope they bring Betsey Ross into the present, it is taking them way too long.
