Season 9 Episode 7

This show isn't as good as it used to be. This episode wasn't that funny. 

It was the cannibals vs the Nazis. It was just dumb, the way they were able to defeat the men with guns. Just stupid. And the cannibals started worshiping Cheryl instead of Lana. It was like Return of the Jedi with the Ewoks & C3PO but it wasn't funny.

There weren't any jokes at all. Just a lot of lame action. These stupid dream seasons have been mostly garbage. I hope he wakes up out of his coma next season. 

Although, I'm sure they will think of some other contrived way to put goddamn Nazis onto the show. They won't be able to do it for 5 more years.

Season 9 Episode 6

This episode was pretty funny. The cannibal stuff with the dumb researcher still respecting them even after they ate his arm was funny. At least he called them a-holes.

I seriously did not understand why Sterling killed the Nazi. He should have let him shoot all those

cannibals. That was just bizarre.

Pam's head on that amazon body looks so weird, they should have made her look more feminine. Although Archer seemed to like her! That was funny too. What was the stupid monkey scene? Who cares. They should shoot all the monkeys. Stoopid monkeys.

Season 9 Episode 5

This episode was pretty funny. Pam making Archer ask her to marry her was funny. When he was awake he was banging her for awhile & they do get along. So it made sense, especially because she seems to have turned into his best friend & he doesn't seem to realize it.

It's funny that she called Crackers a magic bird. Harbinger Harbor & Foreshadowing Lagoon!

This is the kind of episode they should be doing all the time.

Season 9 Episode 4

This episode wasn't funny at all. Once again his arch-nemesis shows up. Sterling got shot down 5 times during the Spanish Civil War, who thinks that's funny? Sterling is supposed to be the super spy, the hero of the show, not some incompetent clown.

It's like they spent all their budget on animating the ocean, instead of hiring comedy writers for the script.

Also, I'm sick to death of seeing Nazis on television. They don't exist anymore but the media & idiots keep invoking them every chance they get. I'm bored of Nazis, especially because they never show the atrocities the Nazis committed, because if they did, then the comparisons people keep making between regular Americans & Nazis would be shown to be idiotic.

Season 9 Episode 3

Finally a funny episode.

Not much happened, but that's when this show is funniest. Them bickering with each other & throwing insults. Poor Luigi! How does he stay in business.

I really like the chinchiladas flashback. How ridiculous & gross.

I liked the Catch-22 joke, I guess Sterling is slowly starting to wake up, if he's aware some things don't make sense in his island dream.

Season 9 Episode 1

Only 2 episodes & I'm already annoyed. This one wasn't that funny either. I didn't care about last season's revenge theme or this season's adventure theme. I want to laugh. They should focus on jokes more than stupid Indiana Jones.

Plus why is Archer only banging Cheryl? So far that's what he's done in both of these dream seasons.
It's a coma dream, where are all of his exe's? And why did Pam punch him? Just not funny.

Season 9 Episode 1

What a weird 1st episode, it's like he started to wake up but stayed in the coma, because you could hear the other people talking while he was in the room after having banged Cheryl.

This episode wasn't that funny. The parrot Crackers was funny, but that's about it. Hopefully they don't over do it with the plot this season. I don't really care about the princess & what she's up to with the German guy.

This episode was pretty funny, especially when Lana got shot to death because Poovey kept shooting her. Which is a weird thing to write, but we know she's alive because this whole season is Archer's coma dream.

The episode got a little graphic once the robot dogs showed up but it wasn't too much.

What a weird ending. Why did they end on Poovey sobbing because the Chinese girls were gone. after a action comedy season finale. To end on that scene was just a downer.

Gramercy, Halberd!

Season 8 Episode 7

This episode was ok funny. It was funny how they kept talking about the Halberd, I know what it is thanks to He-Man. Pam being a boy is still weird, especially with the Poovey having fantasies of banging all those Chinese girls.

More terminator, except this time Dutch is the T-1000. I liked how Archer called him Gort! 

Archer knows that Mother killed Woodhouse!

Season 8 Episode 6

This episode was funnier. They also explained why Lana got involved. I like that she's a treasury agent. Although I'm surprised that the prostitute put her hands up without realizing what kind of agent Lana was.

They made a big deal about the mobster's dead goons being murdered & assembled into the last supper, but who cares. It's not like they were dismembered. It wasn't really shocking.

I am really hating the Cecil Vandertunt because he's just like a grown up Gene Belcher, they should have at least given him a different personality.

I'm also sick of the "So what are we doing?  Are we just - jumping right into this?" because they don't just jump right into it. It's not funny at all.

Sleepers Wake

This episode wasn't that funny. 

It was too much of the kidnapping story. 

It was funny when Vandertunt mentioned the Red Skull. The cyborg quoting Terminator 2 while that guy was dressed as Marlon Brando in The Wild One was funny too. 

They didn't really do a good job of explaining why Lana would suddenly be interested in what's going on.

Season 8 Episode 4

This episode could have been funnier. The finger stuff was weird, especially the Vandertunt brother. It doesn't help that it's the brother from Bob's Burgers, I wish they wouldn't do that. Then it became hard to focus on the show & not see the characters as the character's from Bob's Burgers. It was funny that one time, when they did the "History of Violence" homage, but in a normal episode like this, it's way distracting.

The Krieger WW2 flashbacks were good, especially the way he had his cyborg dogs kill that Nazi girl who had just said she loved him! Man, that was harsh.

This was a funny episode. 

The show is now back on track with the humor now that the everyone is established. Cheryl beating everyone up, including the people helping her. Ray yelling about marijuana. Lana with half an hour of syphilis jokes! Mother with the insults. Pam being a boy is super weird. 

I don't even care about the mob boss & his Chinese whores. 

Berenice

Season 8 Episode 2

This episode was funnier, even all the that's what she said jokes that Charlotte Vandertunt kept making. So funny, how Cheryl tried to help Archer with Lana!

So was the Weekend at Bernie's stuff with Berenice. I don't know how all those things happened in the lobby. 

Now I need to research the Spanish-American war!

Archer Dreamland: No Good Deed

Season 8 Episode 1

So Sterling is alive but in a coma. They sure made it seem like he was dead last season. This episode wasn't that funny, but it's ok, they were establishing this weird dream world of his.

If they are going to do this 40s noir, it would be good if they actually acted like it's the 40s & not inject modern stuff into it, but it is his coma dream so I guess that's why it won't be accurate.

Hopefully it starts to get funnier in later episodes now that everyone & their new identity was established.
