This was a pretty good series finale. It tied up almost everything. The story-lines that mattered at least. Jude rescued the normals, Lindauer was able to stay true to himself, Caleb was able to work with an Apex & got his daughter back while Reece & Leah got away. Sophie is alive & she's now an Apex. Which is not a time loop because that's not how Apex were created. They traveled back to "The Long Peace" so Apex weren't going to be discovered for decades. But maybe they did change the past & now it's the short peace! 

So they left enough things that they could have had a 2nd season, but it's still works as a series finale.

I really liked the speech that Lindauer gave Jude about trying to do what's right & the toll it takes on you. It would have been good if Ellis had contributed a little to that discussion, but it was still good. I would have liked if we saw him get his son back from his harpy ex-wife, but that's asking too much these days.

Once again we see how awful Apex are. Reece knows that it's possible her dna can save Sophie & she just smashes the vial in the sink. Right after she was rescued by Sophie. Then she pretends that she's doing it for the sake of humanity? She doesn't care about humans. And we see this when she's introduced to the deputy.

Eve is also a heartless monster. She poisoned her husband because he tried to save the lives of the other time travelers. What is she trying to protect? Her mission is already a failure.

I love when these shows try to be feminist by making girls have these important roles because what have they shown us? The apex girl is ok with letting the dr. die & is rude to people helping her. Diana abandoned all the people from the future so she can go after 1 girl. And Eve killed her own husband because Paul is a good person. So girls in the future are all evil, good job feminists!

I like how the sheriff asked Mary Smith to name a Kardashian, any of them & she couldn't. That was definitely confirmation that she was traveler. I expected her time travel detector to go off when it was put in the evidence locker but it didn't.

What is that girl up to, that she needs to get out of the camp with 4 people. Does she know how to defeat the Apex? At first I wasn't impressed with that character but I am curious now what she has planned.

Stupid Jude, he's putting his son at risk, although the show seems to have dropped that angle. They don't even mention the son anymore.

They brought the doctor back. I hope she realizes that the Apex is not her friend & that she should do everything she can to cure herself. She should also try to find out what the genetic marker is that allows Apex to exist.

I'm surprised that Lindhower doesn't want to use the Apex to cure diseases, but I guess he figures that any genetic material will lead to the creation of Apex.

I was wondering why they framed that guy, then when his wife showed up it all made sense. I am really surprised that the 1st group wants to kill everyone in the 2nd group. She made her husband film that video but hopefully that's how he doesn't die.

This show is like Siren. They are trying to make the monster sympathetic, but it's not working because Reece is a monster. We have already seen that the humans are trying to escape Apex. Apex, kills humans indiscriminately. So Reece is not a good person, she only saved 1 person, Leah. She doesn't care about anyone else.

This show has also made it impossible to throw in a twist to make it seem like humans are the bad guys because they already made it clear that is not the case. They showed the Apex trial where Apex are in charge & Mendel's disease killing everyone. They showed how everyone is afraid of Apex & how Reece isn't scared of them.

The show thinks just because Reece is "the mom" that automatically makes her character sympathetic (it doesn't).

Roy the White knight, is annoying, how naive is he? Hopefully we'll see more of Mayor Vanessa Conway now that Emma is dead & his ex-wife is banging some dude. I guess we're done with the doctor, another mistake by this show.

Caleb isn't Apex, but he sure is as violent as they are. He threatened to kill that 1 guy because he told DHS about the phone. That was unnecessary.

Rebecca was right when she told the doctor that the Apex doesn't care. She didn't care about curing anyone else or the doctor. I can't believe the doctor didn't just pull over, instead she slow crashed into a mountain. That was so strange.

I'm going to have to agree with everyone else, Jude should put his family first. I get being heroic & principles & stuff, but he has a son. His evil ex-wife met some beta-male and now she's not moving her son closer to his dad. Really, Jude should move back to Oakland to be with his son & forget about these people. Because  kidnapping the DHS guy was such a terrible idea.

Marshall is really stupid. He's giving up leaving town with his girlfriend for some girl he met once? What is wrong with him. He's gonna feel real dumb when he finds out they are related & he can't sleep with her.

I'm glad that Jude told his deputy about the travelers.

So we saw that the 1st migration weren't successful in their plan to stop the Apex. But just like Futureman, taking out those people, won't stop the corporations from continuing the research and work. The wife's crazy idea to kill millions of people to prevent Apex is not a good idea either, I really hope they don't create a time loop by making her be the one who creates Apex. Travelers did a really good job of handling people trying to change the future. So now we have another little girl except this one is branded. I don't even know what that means.

She broke some guys arm because he didn't want her to steal his fishing pole? Are we supposed to feel sympathy for her because she's trying to save the little girl? If it wasn't for her, Leah wouldn't be sick in the 1st place. She even kidnapped the sheriff's son. Then there's all the men she killed last episode. She's the bad guy, in the future & now in the present. It's not like she rebelled against other Apex, she only escaped the future to save Leah. That doesn't make her a good person, only a selfish mom.

I like how the sheriff, once he was home with his son, forgot about everything else.

Oh no! Did they seriously kill Emma? That wife had a good story but I thought she was going to have fake documents, not shoot a DHS agent. I guess because her buddy is there, she thinks he will cover it up for her. She's probably right. The camp isn't even official.

I like that Jude took his son to Harborfest & explained to him why he moved & that it was to keep him safe. I really hope they make sure he chooses his son when he has to. Having his son be against guns was just stupid. It's a cop show, guns are going to be in every episode. So many tv shows just wouldn't be possible without guns, so this agenda pushing in this tv show is incredibly stupid. Especially because his dad is a sheriff. If anything the kid should hate corruption or criminals.

Watching the Apex take out a bunch of people is not interesting. It would have been cool 15 years ago, but not anymore.

It's really stupid that he didn't secure her faster or incapacitate the apex. He should know better than to gloat. I really don't like how she's basically invulnerable. If all the Apex were like that, Commons should be an endangered species in the future.

I'm glad the sheriff started to put his son ahead of the apex & her daughter.

So Leah is a common & has the disease. That's dumb, I was hoping when they showed the black market apex doctor that he had a cure for Mantel's disease. That would make the show much more interesting. Instead they are keeping the disease at bay using apex blood. Stupid.

I thought the other time travelers were apex, but instead they are commons. That's good. Like Travelers, they've been trying to change the future but it sounds like they haven't prevented the creation of biotics, I mean apex.

How did the commons create time travel but the super-smart apex did not?

This was a pretty good 1st episode. I can't believe how many people were sent back, that is a lot. So many of them died. What a disaster if they had all lived. The DHS agent was right, it's better to keep a lid on what's going on.

So that explains how she was able to react so fast & save her daughter, she's an Apex. Which means her daughter is an Apex too. How do they not have a test or a way to identify them? So that agent has been living during the Long Peace for awhile now. It's like Rittenhouse with their sleeper agents.

These refugees from the future are just expecting handouts & have the nerve to complain that they aren't getting enough? Is this show trying to turn people against refugees?

Another divorced dad with a harpie wife. As annoying as she's going to be, it's going to turn into another example of why men shouldn't get married.
