This episode had some funny stuff. "The Legion of Whom" wearing spandex & meeting in a volcano! Canada man! Brian coming up with his super hero names. Thankfully he realized he's too fat to wear spandex. The interviews with all those old characters.

The hallucinations were good & I liked that he blacked out like Morra did in the movie. They've also done more of the tunnel vision these last few episodes like the movie. I like that he has permanent immunity now.
Why did Piper have to leave? Booo!
That northwestern ice passage thing is a real dispute.

Once again Brian's father was being a terrible person. Calling Piper, Brian's "friend" like Brian is 9 years old or something. Piper was kidnapped, an adult woman was kidnapped & that's how the father talks about her, then he tells his son that his office's investigator couldn't find Piper & she's probably dead. Normally that would be true but Sands needs her to make the enzyme.
Sands & Brewster killed all of those people, things just got real.
I can't believe the FBI thought they would be able to capture The Legion of Whom so easily. It was pretty clear that those people they arrested were Morra's team. I like how Morra wasn't even on the plane, he's so many moves ahead of them & Sands.

Poor Grover could have had the night of his life but Brian had him helping with Hades & Meeks.

It could have been funnier.
It's a good thing that Rebecca relented a little when she found out that Brian's family was in danger. She was starting to be unreasonable. I guess the NZT helped her out.
I thought for a minute she was serious about kidnapping Sands son. They had me. But isn't his son a secret? They could arrest him for trying to kidnap that diplomat's son.
Her art things should have been crayon or finger-paint.
What are they going to do now that the cat's out of the bag & he won't get anymore enzyme? Piper is still being held captive.

The sci-fi continues with 3D printed organs & organ repo men.
Morra is not even worried, he's ready to build alliances with other countries, he's not scared of Sands & his little gang.
Rebecca the hypocrite is lying to Brian, after whining about not being lied to, and now she's going to threaten him.
Stupid Naz stopped him from showing us cat videos. The HQ is gone, and so is all his junk so now he has to make toys out of office supplies.

They did the Drunk History thing where Drunk Brian dubbed over the other cast members while they talked which was pretty funny.
So glad he is with Chloe & not Rebecca. Especially because they made it clear that he has a thing for blondes.
It didn't make sense that the FBI was trying to find him & they were being difficult. They are the worst parents on tv, I'm surprised that they are written this way when the rest of the show is so good. Maybe it's to explain why Brian is a man-child who isn't interested in gowing even when he's on NZT.
How can that seed be on the only one in the world? Doesn't that mean that Senator Morra has a supply of that plant also?

OMG his sister Rachel sucks. What the hell is wrong with her? She goes to his place & smokes pot out of a bong & then has the nerve to tell his parents that he's taking pills.
Then his mom who is also ok with her son when he's a stoner loser, has a problem that he's working for the FBI. Are his parents just a pair of anti-government hippies? Because his family has to be one of the worst on tv. They are only happy when he's wasting his life smoking pot.
He's a grown man, who cares if his mom doesn't want him in the house.
I think it's stupid that he's wasting pills to solve trivial street crime, but seeing as how his parents have such low expectations it's not a surprise that he would do that with his extra pills instead of trying to build a career in case Morra pulls the pills away.
Rebecca also over-reacted. She's surprised the drug user lied to her? Grow up.
I'm surprised that the research assistant released that bacteria into the air without testing it, it could have started the Planet of The Apes!

Not only did they film scenes using the styles of those directors, the fake comic books were also done in the styles of comic book artists!
I can't believe they did that. I recognized a few, of course they were DC covers because it's a CBS show.
I liked how it started as two apparently unrelated cases. I also like that Mike & Ike are getting bigger parts on the show.

This one was pretty funny. It basically turned into an episode of chuck when Brian went undercover with Lucy Church who was a lot like Sarah, the only thing missing was them eating at Subway.
There were a lot of funny things in this one, like him mentioning his red suit from the last episode, which turns out to be the only suit he owns. Then when he slept with agent Church they showed us a Bollywood dance number with Mike & Ike dancing. They showed those fake movie posters for each of the undercover agents.
"You know that lady from real housewives. She says she wasn't there to make friends but you know what? I think she was there to make friends. She is a very lonely person."
Sands has a really terrible poker face, I can't believe he just confirmed to Rebecca that he was involved in the shooting. That was bad. Are they trying to get her to join the team like Brian?

They keep pushing the sci-fi & this time it was a mix of Dollhouse & Max Headroom. They pulled people's personalities into some hard drives like Dollhouse but then they built these weird mannequin torsos that could barely talk. It looked terrible. They should have just gone all the way & had video like Max.
The funny parts were when Mike & Ike did arts & crafts for Naz & when Brian put those dog vines on screen. Also the little clips of things we haven't seen before like how he's good friends with the tech guy.
Some guy murdered the female scientist & he confessed so he could talk to her robot shoulders? That was the hard part to believe.

This episode started out with a pretty graphic crime so I was surprised but then they tried to keep it light with Brian retreating to some childhood tv show like Barney/Beekman's World.
But the word replacement became really hard to follow along, I wasn't sure if hugging meant strangling or murdering. I liked his list of crimes he has committed.
Now that NXT exists in this show, they went a little sci-fi with the doctor doing some kind of Inception / Eternal Sunshine thing.
The worst part of this episode was that Rebecca would notice that the button is damaged slightly differently. There is no reason why anyone would take another super zoom photo of a coat button.

S01E12
The original Limitless man showed up on the intrepid & let himself get shot. They kept up the "is he evil or is he a good guy" angle. It's still not clear & they introduced a girl on NZT who shot him.
She went to his house for a Fringe reunion & basically threatened them, just like Senator Morra did. Brian figured out a way to not kill her, the question is: did Senator Morra think of that? Eddie knows that Brian doesn't want to kill people.
His daydreams were pretty funny.
"Can we talk about Senator Morra's eyes for a second?"

"Nuke 'em from the orbit. That's the only way to be sure."
The best part of the episode was the conversation at the end. It shows just how dumb Brian is. Why does he want to be some pot-smoking loser. He is so attached to his old identity, it shows how much NZT is being wasted on him, but it also shows why Senator Morra is not threatened by him. He really has zero ambition, he's like the worst of the millenials because he is actively fighting against becoming a better man even though it's right there in pill form.

S01E11
This episode wasn't that funny, but it was still good though. We learned Ike's real name at the end with the title cards. I'm glad they told Brian to show the agents more respect.
Rebecca dumped Casey with a text message so he decides to take some NZT with his swat buddies who kept a few pills after they recovered the NZT from some drug thieves. The swat guys did some silly stuff, but then there's a murder & everything goes sideways.
Brian was super harsh with Boyle at the end but Boyle asked for it & Brian had a point. Shooting Casey while he was so close to Brian, with all that smoke was the wrong decision to make. They could have talked it through especially because Casey had not killed anyone.
I didn't catch that Brian's gasmask was for him smoking weed. They should have had Boyle mention that it smelled of weed to make that clear.

S01E10
The arm story was pretty good, expecially the set up at the beginning. Brian was right, people typing at a pc for hours is boring & so is "Tech Talk." The Vine montages were really funny. I liked the map with the arm moving about the city like Pac-man, but the chef scene was a little graphic for a comedic episode.
Brian's father is annoying. On the one hand he's right to protect Brian from the weird drug that his son may be addicted to. On the other hand, his son was a screw up until NZT came along, so it's ridiculous that now is when he chooses to help his son instead of when Brian was wasting his life. Where was he when Brian could have used his help? Also, threatening an FBI agent, let alone a Grimm, is just not a good idea.

This one was really funny.
Naz saying "no" over & over again. Headquarters with an exclamation, Mike in the clothing optional resort. Then the ending with all the fake movie posters & movie scenes was really funny. I did not even get that they were poking fun of her in The Abyss.
The only bad part of this episode was the dad. He was emotionally blackmailing Brian with those childhood art projects. Your kid works for the FBI, there are secrets, deal with it. I hope they kill the dad off, just for pulling that stunt.

This was pretty funny. The pirates pirating the pirates. I wish he had imagined that happening in one of his daydreams. They didn't really explain how that kid knew what was going on. Was he just listening to everything all day long?
I did not like how Naz was so ready to resign. It didn't make any sense & the fact that they arrested her, showed how she isn't as irreplaceable as she thought she was.
I don't know how Brian is going to explain to Rebecca where he got the extra pills from without getting in trouble with Morra. ADIC Johnson & his micro-penis text was funny. The conk shell stuff was funny too.
School Girl Reaper did not seem real, it was pretty tame. But the bad guy playing it at the end was great.

Ferris Bueller! He even wore the jacket, it was pretty funny that they did it so much, even with the bad guy at the end on the school bus. Abe Froman & Cameron, even her fringe jacket!
This was a much better episode than the last one. I hope they do another episode like this in the future, it keeps this show from being another boring procedural.
It's too bad he had to waste one of his pills. I'm not sure why the bad guy didn't get smart, even with the poison. Is he going to die or did Brian just use the LSD berries? They weren't very clear on that.

This episode wasn't very funny. I hope they go back to doing comedy. Rebecca's evil "destroy America" plan seemed like it would be effective.
The side effects made no sense, it didn't match the 1st episode & the pictures they use in the intro to every episode. I thought those were withdrawal symptoms & they should have gone away as soon as he took a pill? If they were side effects, it should not have been so sudden for Brian because he had a booster shot & the patients he was investigating were productive before they became ill.
'We must protect this grain of rice!'
I can see how it could change the world, no more hunger & fighting over land. So Morra is a great guy, but then Sands killed the doctor. Either Morra has no problem killing people to protect the rice or Sands is not loyal which explains why Morra was testing Brian's loyalty. Either one makes sense.

Dexter reunion!
It was funny seeing them together & dating again. They should have more people from Dexter on.
I liked that they showed that being FBI is not all fun & games, people can die. Hopefully he'll start to take some of this more seriously.
"Why is there a clay effigy of me on your coffee table?"
I hope they don't do more of this "My Own Worst Enemy" stuff. That show was cancelled because nobody liked the idea of the secret agent being horrible to the normal guy. They need to move away from the NZT Brian & Normal Brian dichotomy. He's the same guy.

Brian solved this episode's crime too fast. It was a cool idea using the milk cartons but it's not clear how someone else would assemble the cartons. His mouse friend investigation was ok but not as interesting.
He was on NZT, he should not have needed to call Rebecca to rescue him out of the building. They should have spent more time on Rebecca's dad story. There were not enough jokes in this episode.
I think they need to figure out his motivation & soon. He is not an ethical person. He is cheating at life with the pills & has no trouble lying & manipulating everyone around him. It makes no sense that he puts his dad's life in danger because he doesn't want to spy on the FBI. Maybe they should show him learning what the FBI knows before he gives it to Morra.

I really liked his grindhouse version of the cartel boss & his imagining of Rebecca arresting El Sabre was pretty funny. I hope they keep doing that kind of stuff. Also that he got an idea from Miami Vice.
His whole family is in danger so it's dumb that Brian dumped the girl who got away just to "keep her safe" They already know who she is, they can still hurt her. He should have kept her around. She would probably be safer that way. Now he'll never get a 3rd chance.
I really hope they don't try to make him date Rebecca. She looks nothing like his ex. If he's smart he won't try to double-cross the senator & everything should be fine.
