Will You Take My Hand

Star Trek: Discovery
S01E15
Season 1 Episode 15

What the hell was that? That was an awful, awful season finale.

That was the stupidest ending of a war. If L'rell had united the Klingon houses, it would have meant that they would have continued the war & decimated the Federation. Instead they just stop?! That didn't make any sense. Neither did L'rell talking about honor after she held her own people & her own planet hostage with a bomb! That was so stupid. The admiral just changes her plan because Burnham threatens to mutiny again!?

They made such a big deal about having the emperor be captain of the ship for nothing. It should have ended on a cliffhanger. That's what this show has tried to do, end each episode on a twist or cliffhanger or reveal like a lame knock off of Dark Matter. They should have kept it up.

I like that the Klingons had an Orion embassy on Qo'nos, even though it was more of a city. But then the Klingons there, didn't seem to mind that there were humans on their homeworld in the middle of a war!? At least we saw some Orions. Of course, it was nonsense that the Terran emperor would sleep with aliens but anything to have lesbians on tv these days.

The only good part of the show was Tilly. It was great when she realized that the captain was actually the emperor & gave the Terran salute.

Am I supposed to care that the Discovery is meeting up with Enterprise after such an abrupt end to the war? I don't.

The War Without, The War Within

Star Trek: Discovery
S01E14
Season 1 Episode 14

This show is a mess.

It's like they keep trying to shock the audience with new revelations every few episodes. Ooh, the Klingons killed some neutral aliens, Ooh Lt, Tyler is really Voq, Ooh, we're in the mirror universe, Ooh Lorca was mirror the whole time & now they put the Emperor in charge of the Discovery. It's only been 1 season & they've already done the mirror universe, time travel & two captains died in the middle of a Klingon war. It should be called Star Trek: Try-hard.

I like that they mentioned Captain Archer. I still don't think this is the prime universe. This spore
nonsense is getting more outlandish with each episode. Now they can terraform a moon in a few hours? There's no need for Project Genesis now. Sorry Spock, you are going to stay dead.

Even though the SJW creators said that the Klingons were based on the Alt-Right, this episode showed the Klingons behave like islamic terrorists with suicide attacks & a bunch of cells with no central organization! Then the admiral said that the Federation needs to protect it's borders from the invaders! Wasn't Admiral Cornwell dead?

What's Past Is Prologue

Star Trek: Discovery
S01E13
Season 1 Episode 13

At 1st I thought it was dumb that Georgiou was emperor but Hoshi did take command at the end of that episode of Star Trek: Enterpise so maybe she's a descendant. This show is online, so why are they still sticking to a broadcast time constraint. It's so annoying that they keep cutting footage that should be in the show.

I'm glad that Burnham fought & escaped instead of going to the brig. I think it's dumb that the emperor just gave up because Lorca took over her ship for a few hours, that's barely a coup. I also think it was insane that Burnham kidnapped the emperor & also that the transporter separated them. That was really stupid. Did nobody on this show watch any episodes of Star Trek!? That's not what happens when they transport.

Burnham made such a huge mistake, what was she thinking rescuing the emperor. She was there when the emperor fired on the planet with the rebel base after she tried to let them leave. The writers of this show seem to have the same short-term memory that most stupid liberals have these days.

Suddenly the DASH drive let's them travel through time!? They just suddenly introduce that in this episode without explanation? Where is the federation timeship when you need it.

At least mirror Lorca is dead, so I guess we'll find out if fungus Lorca is alive or dead.

Vaulting Ambition

Star Trek
S01E12
Season 1 Episode 12

I liked that they finally called it the Displacement Activated Spore Hub drive.

It turns out Captain Lorca was mirror Lorca the whole time. It would be shocking if we cared about Captain Lorca, but we don't. The show is about Burnham & Lorca was evil the whole season, that's why I thought he was Section 31. It does explain a lot of stuff about him. His secret weapon room. His jump into the mirror universe in the middle of the war. How he escaped his universe will be interesting to find out.

I like that the emperor is reasonable enough to help Burnham, I'm a little surprised that she only trusted that 1 guy to keep the spore universe a secret. (I'm not calling it prime timeline because it isn't.)

Spore Stamets talking to his mirror doppelganger was terrible. Mirror Stamet wasn't very tough. He seemed just like regular Stamet. It was annoying. He may be a scientist, but he's Terran Empire & should have been more militaristic.

It looks like they may redeem stupid Tyler and he may not be Voq anymore. That sucks. L'Rell sure made it sound like it's possible. It's lame if they use that to end the war. Besides he was removed from power months ago. I doubt the Klingons will listen to him. They'll treat him the way some Minbari treated Delenn when she grew hair.

The Wolf Inside

Star Trek: Discovery
S01E11
Season 1 Episode 11

I guess meeting the mirror version of yourself would wake you up.

Mirror Voq didn't really explain his coalition very well. Just that they all have a common enemy, The Terran Empire. Unless Burnham is going to go to the Delta quadrant & get the Borg or the Gamma quadrant to get The Dominion, there isn't a common enemy for the Federation & the Klingons, I guess she could find the Romulans. But there was no SJW reason, which is this show is desperately trying to push.

Mmirror Universe Stamet talking to Stamet in spore dimension was stupid. I think I figured it out, this isn't the Kelvin timline or the prime timeline, it's the fungus universe. Because someone on the show did a 3rd grade science fair project on fungi & now the universe & the afterlife are all fungus-related.

It's funny how weak Burnham was, when she punched Tyler, he barely flinched.

Despite Yourself

Star Trek Discovery
S01E10
Season 1 Episode 10

Watching Captain Lorca get tortured was good but the best part was Captain Tilly, the Slayer of Sorna Prime!

Tyler killed the doctor! That confirms that he's the Klingon from the 1st episode. But what is the point? L’Rell put him on the Discovery for what? To learn about the spore drive? He's barely done that. The two of them can't take over the ship unless she has people loyal to her who will show up when she sends a signal.

This really better be a Section 31 show, because so much of it is wrong.

They went to the Mirror Universe, which unfortunately means that they are not in the prime universe, but it's like some mirror mirror universe because that is not the Terran Empire logo & nobody had a goatee. That's not the Defiant! Discovery continues messing things up.

Then Burnham said the Terran Empire was racist, instead of calling them speciesist. That kind of mistake is what makes the show have forced sjw crap. They didn't make that mistake in TOS, DS9 or ENT when they dealt with the Terran Empire. Also, what is the difference between them & the Vulcans? Nothing! They haven't called the Vulcans racist even though Burnham experienced it first hand. But that's what happens when they care more about SJW crap than the story.

Into The Forest I Go

Star Trek Discovery
S01E09
Season 1 Episode 9

Another mess of an episode.

They went to Pahvo to see if they could use "space sonar" to detect the cloaked Klingon ships, but then they fly to Star Base 46 at warp 5. Yet somehow they can detect, on long-range scanners, while flying away at warp 5, a cloaked vessel at the planet!?! Did they forget what this entire episode is about? So they return to try to figure out a way to detect cloaked vessels!? It was so incredibly stupid. Then they planted those enormous transmitters in plain sight on the ship. They didn't even put a blanket on it to hide the lights.

And they needed 155 spore jumps for it to work? That was nonsense. Just fly around at impulse. Plus the Klingons just drifted there while they watched the Discovery teleport around them. It was so stupid. They should have dropped cloak & fired. Then Captain Lorca decides, for no good reason, that they should jump to the star base & they end up so deep in Klingon space that they don't know where they are, unless they accidentaly time traveled & the stars are in different positions.

The Rent joke wasn't even funny after all that stupidity. So he has PTSD but he's going on Away missions to Klingon ships, but Captain Lorca has trouble sleeping & the Admiral wants to relieve him of command. How do they not have regulations for personnel who have PTSD? Not that it matters because it sure seems like he's Voq pretending to be human.

Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum

Star Trek: Discovery
S01E08
Season 1 episode 8

This episode was a mess. At no point did Admiral Cornwall say that the Discovery had a secret weapon. There is no way that she would ever give up such a valuable piece of information. And why would the Klingon leader bother putting red paint on L’Rell's face if he thought she was lying? That scene was so stupid. It didn't make any sense.

I liked the space battle & how they failed to save that ship but why is the camera shaking when a spaceship flies by, it's space, there is no turbulence.

I like that Saru found piece for once, but who built the house on the weird Pandora planet if there were no life forms on it? I liked that he gave Burnham a horse kick but if Pandora wanted harmony why did it allow Saru to be so violent with them? How can the Navi just teleport people??

Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad

Star Trek: Discovery
S01E07
Season 1 Episode 7

This show has so many things wrong in every episode. Before we were led to believe that Tilly was socially awkward & Burnham was her only friend, but now at the party, which the ship is having for no apparent reason, some dude is hitting on Tilly? & she's turning guys down?

Then Mud can time travel? Using some time travel crystal?? It's as if the temporal cold war didn't happen. Why didn't a Federation timeship show up to stop Mud?

Watching mud kill Lorca was good, but it would have been better if there was more screaming. Mud said those little pills were painful, but it seemed painless when Tyler died.

We get it, the space panda is Burnham. On the other show, any relationships developed slowly, on this show, they rushed this Burnham Tyler thing. I don't care about them as a couple

Lethe

Star Trek: Discovery
S01E06
Season 1 Episode 6

Ugh, this weird mind meld that never happened before & never will again because Discovery is yet another prequel. I'm surprised that Sarek didn't logic his way out of that decision. That the Vulcan only parameter was illogical. Lame, he just had an emotional reaction.

I like that the captain was sleeping with a phaser by his bed, but it was stupid that the admiral complained about that, instead of him choking her. She was going to relieve him of command because he's precautious? They are in a war! That's a stupid reason. Him going into klingon space, is why she should have given him a formal reprimand. But taking away his command because he has some PTSD? That was overreacting and so much projection from her. It was really stupid.

The Vorlon knock-offs suck. Never even heard of them before.

Those work out shirts were really stupid. Disco? They couldn't get a font that spelled Discovery? Why is the replicator judging everyone's food order? What if I want to order some candy or donuts?

Choose Your Pain

Star Trek Discovery
S01E05
Season 1 Episode 5

Pike and Archer on the list of successful captains!

Saru was in charge! He was making all the right decisions & tough ones too! "my first duty is to the ship!" He's like, I don't care about the Space Tardigrade, there are over 100 lives on this ship.

Of course a teleporting Tardigrade that lives in the vacuum of space is only believable because I watched the Moya for a bunch of season.

Like I mentioned the 1st time they showed the doctor, it's Rent in space. Statmet is such an annoying character. At least he listened when Burnham was talking about the Space Tardigrade. He was being a little human when he let cadet Tilly enjoy the science. That helped a little, also how he took the Tardigrade's place to save his husband. But then Stamets was lookiing at himself in the mirror all alone.

Is he really with the doctor or is he imagining that? Mud? is that the same Mud from TOS? Is he supposed to be related to him? That was weird. Where was the Klingon woman cleavage & since when do Klingon's have peacock fighter ships?

The Butcher's Knife Cares Not for the Lamb's Cry

Star Trek Discovery
S01E04
Season 1 Episode 4

What is this? Rent in space? Are they kidding? Anthony Rapp & now Ricky is the doctor?

I hate all the insubordination. Even though I originally didn't like Mary Sue Burnham, millenial scientist is now the worst. Stamets thinks he can leave with his research? Is he stupid? He behaves like a spoiled little child & what a terrible actor. He barely reacted to his gay lover's death on the Glenn, go back to The Public.

I really hate the spore drive. The way the ship spins looks cool, but that chamber where they put the Super Tardigrade doesn't make any sense. They totally skipped over how they gave the Super Tardigrade control of the ship's navigation! And how they could tell the Super Tardigrade their destination. Just so many things wrong with this.

The captain luring the birds of prey to converge on him to leave a bomb seemed like a dumb way to take them out. I guess Section 31 needs to maintain secrecy.

Starfleet left the Shenzou just floating in space?? With valuable Federation technology that the Klingons could use to reverse-engineer into weapons? Nonsense. It's the same thing that made me hate DS9, The Cardassians would just abandon Terok Nor & all it's technology? No way.

The Klingons left the cloaking ship drifting in space for 6 months?! They ate captain Georgiou?!

All of the Klingon stuff was so incredibly stupid. I can only hope that that Albino dude converts himself into a TOS Klingon

Context is for Kings

Star Trek Discovery
S01E03
Season 1 Episode 3

Discovery is Section 31!! Which is what a lot of us asked for after the Dominon War, so this show might turn out good after all. Black Com badges, the captain preventing Burnham from going to jail with no transfer papers. I wouldn't be surprised if those prisoners had another "accident."

I would be more excited but there are so many things wrong with this show. Burnham is turning into a Mary Sue with everyone talking about how great she is & better than everyone else at every thing.

Stamets was annoying. I don't see how he wasn't written up for insubordination. He was extremely disrespectful to the captain. The Klingon shushing them was really stupid. What was that monster & how come none of the away team seemed surprised by it's existence?

Spore Engine is an interesting idea that we saw in Andromeda's Slipstream drive but having Burnham travel while inside that chamber made no sense. Just because they put her in the spores, she was able to travel to those planets? While inside the ship? That was so stupid.

Battle at the Binary Stars

Star Trek: Discovery
S01E02
Season 1 Episode 2

Lots of problems with this episode. It wasn't even a full 42 minutes. They never said how many ships were destroyed at this fight or what it was called. Now Vulcans can mind meld communication stones?? That made no sense. When Spock used two hands in Wrath of Kahn, talking to people was not the result of that. That was terrible. It was dumb that the admiral was still using holo-calls when his ship was right there! So stupid.

They needed to show more of the space battle. Some good scenes but not enough. These Klingons don't look like warriors, they remind me of those old Spaniards with the big collars.

We did get to see more of Burnham's past. And she pleaded guilty so I guess that's good. Not sure what nonsense will get her out of a life sentence.

I liked that she got emotional when Captain Georgiou died & acted human & shot T'Kuvma! She ended up making him a martyr. It's too bad that she didn't tell Captain Georgiou she considered her like a mother.

I liked when that Klingon ship started slicing into Admiral Anderson's ship & the Admiral pulled a self-destruct. But T'Kuvma said his was the only ship that could cloak, but it was a different ship that destroyed the admiral's. It's the same mistake they made in Undiscovered Country.

The Vulcan Hello

Star Trek Discovery
S01E01
Season 1 Episode 1

Is this supposed to be after Captain Archer & Star Trek: Enterprise? Or is this part of the Kelvin timeline? What a mess this show is. They were all shocked when the Klingon destroyer uncloaked, but I'm pretty sure there were cloaked vessels during ST:E.

I was wondering why Burnham was talking so weird. After watching The Orville where they talk like normal people, listening to Commander Burnham was really annoying. Then we found out that she was raised as a Vulcan. I don't know how she can do a Vulcan nerve pinch, I'm pretty sure humans aren't strong enough.

She needs to be court-martialed. What a psycho, she mutinied while the Klingons were outside.

Those were Klingons? What are they doing on this show? It's not even Star Trek. They don't look like TOS or TNG Klingons. What was that white Klingon nonsense? Who cares that he burnt his hand? He is supposed to find glory on the battlefield. When Worf did it, is when he got respect. Even their Bat'leth looked bizarre. That didn't look like a weapon.

Really? Her name is Michael? Is that a joke? What is the point of that? It's so stupid. so was her leaving sick bay, like she couldn't talk on the video monitor like the emergency medical hologram?
