Tyrune Returns

Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog
S01E13
Season 1 Episode 13

I was shocked that Angus threw the spell into the fire, but luckily it worked out by destroying the chains on Pyre so it could fight Tyrune.

It's too bad we didn't see more of the fight between the two dragons, but we did see Rohan riding Pyre. That was good.

I liked how each head of Tyrune shot a different color flame. The action figures have shields, why don't the knights?

Even though Torc was spreading dissent against the knights, the villagers weren't wrong, the Mystic Knights did release Tyrune to terrorize the countryside.

Brigis

She-Ra: Princess of Power
S02E11
Season 2 Episode 11

She-Ra & Bow were on a date near that 500 year village. So weird, where are those people during those 500 years? They get frozen & only live for 1 day every 500 years? Plus nobody can leave the village? Sounds like a prison, even if they are all happy.

I like how Hordak took the form of one of those tanks, now it makes sense that so many of those vehicles have his face. They are modeled after one of his mechanized forms, not because he's a narcissist.

She-Ra was doing her Hulk-jump & acting like Supergirl, flying around & drilling into the ground. These season 2 episodes have a lot more action than the 1st season.

I'm surprised that Hordak really wanted that witch's magic box. I thought he wasn't into magic. Maybe Shadow Weaver had a secret plan to take it once they got it from that witch.

Cold Steel

The Punisher
S01E08
Season 1 EPisode 8

This was a good episode. Billy Russo is terrible. He shot his own dude that he hired & then he murdered that DHS agent & then was helping Madani take a bath hours a few hours later. I'm surprised they didn't force her to go to the hospital to take evidence or whatever.

Stein annoyed me, because he contradicted himself a lot, but him being murdered was pretty rough. Especially because Madani regretted being mean to him that day, when he was just friendly teasing her. She was confiding in him but she was still a bitch to him sometimes. It's not like he was coming in late, or not doing his job.

I'm still a little confused about what their plan was. They each thought The Punisher was going to be there to steal guns from somebody? How did that happen.

It was obvious that Micro's wife was falling for Frank, that sucked. I think he handled it an ok way. He didn't cry or try to fight him, but he did throw a punch so he's still a man. I remember in the comic he had an adult son, so I don't know where they are going on this show.

Doomsday

Marvel's Runaways
S01E09
Season 1 Episode 9

This show started off strong but now it's turning into nonsense.

Molly pushed a truck, because trucks don't have keys or engines? And after all her exertion she didn't fall asleep? Then suddenly they all remembered that they have powers. The velociraptor is just going to stay in the car all this time? And it doesn't have feathers. Then the kids are ready to, what? Kill their own parents? Only a day after Chase wanted to do nothing to them.

Blah Blah "heteronormative" - yes Chase, that's because heterosexuality is normal. Normal is heterosexuality. And Chase is overcome with lust for Gert?

But of course not only is Karolina suddenly a lesbian but so is Niko. Because every girl on tv is a lesbian. The criminal tells his babymomma that he saw kids with powers & instead of mentioning NY, Sokovia, Africa, Hawaii or Vienna, she says he's "on crack." It's that kind of crap that is also annoying. This is supposed to be in the MCU, but they never mention it.

eXtraction

The Gifted
S01E12
Season 1 Episode 12

Seriously, every time they go on a mission, they show that Humanity Today & Sentinel Services are correct to be worried. & Campbell's speech at the beginning was great. It's like the SJW marvel comics from 2016, where they gave villains reasonable & common sense arguments. Sorry mutants, you guys are dangerous.

I think it was crap that they had Campbell not just hide behind those kids but actually point a gun at one of them. That was incredibly stupid. They haven't made the mutants try to protect innocent bystanders, so it makes no sense that he would do that, betting on them putting the safety of those kids ahead of capturing him. That was a big mistake character-wise & by the writers. During the prison break they killed tons of agents.

I like that Andy & his sister fought each other, it's normal & a good way to separate them. The Frost sisters are so out of control. I really like that they are starting to mention the X-Men & The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants more. Unlike SHIELD or Runaways this show knows who it's audience is & knows how to make it connect. They didn't say Magneto, but we know. It's so frustrating that the Marvel shows don't do that.

Face The Music

Black Scorpion
S01E20
Season1 Episode 20

Vox Populi wasn't that good of a villain. She was just some punk rock band singer, which is fine, but they never explained how her guitar could shoot sonic waves at people. She just could. It didn't make sense. Every other villain on the show has had some kind of explanation but she didn't. They did explain how they put the subliminal messages in her music. But that was the mayor.

Black Scorpion got an upgrade to her mask with some earplugs.

At first I was getting annoyed that Black Scorpion was just beating up random people instead of Vox Populi, but at the end there was a good fight between them on the rooftop with Black Scorpion using that sonic wave guitar to kill Vox Populi by shooting her so she fell off the roof of city hall!

Crosshairs

The Punisher
S01E07
Season 1 Episode 7

Scumbag Billy almost killed Frank. I don't get it but maybe he was dirty back in Iraq.

I noticed that whore say "he's here" too. So it's good that Bennett heard her say it too.

Cloning the phone was pretty smart, especially because Castle was asking him questions. That scene where he shot the bulletproof glass was awesome. I'm sure that smug bastard got scared when that happened.

Are they kidding? Now Castle is questioning if he might have to shoot a soldier just doing his job? Did he forget the 6 or 8 guys he killed in the last episode? What exactly would be the difference? It's still life or death. So that scene in the tunnel was stupid. He could have disabled that soldier somehow.
