The season finales always have something go sideways. 

They had a plan & Quentin was going to take over for the knight's daughter, but then Elliot shoots the weird monster thing with the god bullet, even though they agreed not to do that. Then the daughter was possessed by the monster.

I can't believe "xxx" let the fairy queen make such an insane deal. Humans are now responsible for protecting fairies all across the universe? Because that's the deal she made. If the librabry decides to kill fairies again, how are humans going to stop it?

Alice had a point but our Lady of the Trees was like nope! I was kind of looking forward to Julia being a god next season & becoming distant, but I guess not.

Season 3 Episode 12

The beginning recap was really funny, it took me a minute to realize that Josh was explaining it to Penny23. Katie is not happy with Penny23 especially when the group chat key replaced Penny40 with Penny23. That sucked. It was also funny how they were all talking when it happened.

Margo, the bestiality queen!? WTF! That was crazy. She got her eye back with fairy vision. The election was a brilliant idea. Is kinko's still around?

Julia is seriously turning into a god & a benevolent one too. Oh man, this show just keeps getting better. I like how Quentin went & talked to his father & spoke to him as an adult. He should be wiser now after having lived that entire life.

I forgot all about the god bullet.

Season 3 Episode 11

Julia is seriously powerful now. She replaced all the shields on Brakebills & then when they travel to the alternate timeline, she heals Marina & casts the Rhinemann Ultra spell against Quentin who is the new beast!!

Come one Josh, your 'ship name would be Jolia or Jush. Oh no, Penny 23 & Marina 23 just traveled to earth 40! The Quickening? Are all the werewolves going to behead each other because there can be only one!

This episode had some really good lines but it kept getting ruined by the feminist crap. It really kept the episode from being great. Even when they try to write feminist garbage, they end up showing how stupid it is. Marina called Quentin an average white guy, but he literally killed a god (in both timelines!) then he killed all the magicians & he was certainly more powerful than she is. Only his love for both Julia & Alice is what made him vulnerable & then because he's a hero, he killed himself. Take your feminism & choke on it.

Season 3 episode 10

This episode was pretty good. Even though I really don't get why Fen & Julia are helping the fairies. They should have explained the deal & how the Fairy queen broke it. Can the queen break any deal? That wasn't clear at all. I'm also surprised how that deal even works. The collar disables magic as long as what? What were the conditions?

I also don't see why Elliot & Margo want to stay in Fillory & be king & queen. It's still a mostly medieval agrarian society, so what is the point.

The expanded cast is working. The dinner murder was pretty scary. Invisible people stabbing everyone. They didn't even need to use magic.

Season 3 Episode 9

I was sort of hoping for a full musical episode, but this was good too. 

Wow, I did not realize how beautiful Kady is, I've always been fixated on how perfect Alice is. In E, that was funny. Now i have to listen to these songs again. 

They seriously ignored Josh's texts? That's messed up.

Tick could have figured out a way to banish the high king & queen instead of killing them in the Infinite Waterfalls. The ship can fly?! How is that even possible? Nobody mentioned it, is this some secret ability that the ship had all along or did something change? 

It was really cool how Julia got the lens flare eyes to fix that fairy.

Season 3 Episode 8

This was a great episode. I like how they broke it up by person & it still made sense at the end. Harriet is the librarian's daughter!? That was unexpected. I like how her whole segment was mostly silent except for the soft thud of footsteps.

I can't believe they killed Harriet & the other teleporter. That is messed up. I like how they made the mirror bridge an actual bridge & not some cgi stuff.

The poor map guy was all alone & lied to get more attention. & Penny is still a douchebag, he can't even be nice to a dead guy who called him his friend.

I didn't really like the explanation of the life books, it sort of makes sense but I still don't like it. Also why does she look exactly like Alice. Does everyone snort Fairy bone dust?

I like how they are using more characters on the show. Todd was with Fenn & Frail Human in the square of time. Harriet likes Katie but doesn't like Julia or Alice. So they had to break out Katie so she could ask Harriet to send them to the underworld & Penny is going to turn into a book and get swallowed by a dragon so he can get to the underworld to retrieve the suicide key! So nuts.

Luckily the Blue Fairy helped Alice live long enough for Julia to get her magic back thanks to Micro's wife. Poppy sleeping with Quentin really seemed to come out of nowhere.

Oh boy, the people of Fillory are not happy. I wonder if they are going to get violated. Eliot said things took a dark turn with the floaters being impaled on spikes so who knows.

What the hell. another dragon!?

The fairies are terra-forming Fillory! That's crazy. I would have set all those mushrooms on fire. And knowing the fairy weakness, Elliot & Margo should move to the desert or find something else that dehumidifies. I didn't even notice that the fairy queen was always being moistened.

The meta stuff was funny, but now it's a little annoying. Penny is still a douche bag & should be left in the astral plane. What?? Why would Benedict just jump in while Quentin was telling him to stop.

They really shouldn't do magic by themselves. I don't think that god lady likes that Alice has her son's magic now.

This was a good episode with the time travel into the Fillory books.

So Julia has god magic but the lady of the underground didn't explain how she's supposed to help Alice.

Katie was so stupid. She blamed Penny because she tried to kill herself? He's a ghost & she has the nerve to be mad at him? She's got a lot of nerve.

I like the mosaic of the beauty of everything. I don't know why they threw in the stupid gay stuff. It was really dumb. I don't know why they keep pushing this garbage. So stupid.

I was surprised by the younger brother killing prince Micah. Poor Queen Margo. She has a good story, I don't know what they were talking about. She has a much better story this season than she did in the 1st.

This was a good episode.

I really liked the pervert guy. He was pretty funny as a viewer. Penny was still annoying, you would think after seeing Christmas Present he might change his attitude just a tiny bit, but no. It's too bad that Elliot saw him.

I like that the key made your biggest fear. I'm surprised, he's scared of his dad. Did Katie try to kill herself & who told Julia about it?

What is going on with the library? They were operating just fine a few days ago & now the library has been emptied for tinder & toilet paper? And those dudes are cannibals eating librarians?

I thought we were done with Quentin being in Julia's friendzone. Now I have to look up what that guy called Alice. Another key in Fillory? That's two keys over there & 1 on earth.

I don't get why he became the candle & set himself on fire. now what is he going to do.

The Margollum was pretty funny. Quentin: killer of gods & gollums!

OMG yes! Penny is dead! Please stay dead, because an astral projection Penny angry that he isn't alive would be worse than him being normal.

Another sad conversation between Alice & Quentin.

I like how Niffin Alice was just cruel for no reason. She wasn't searching for knowledge, she just liked looking at the lights when the lampreys died. and the way she smiled as she watched the lights of the lamprey when she killed him was great.

Boats having sex was interesting. Did Margo's boat reply to her before the fairy queen killed all the pirates? That was weird that the door showed up on the boat. Does the key create the door or was the key for that boat the whole time??

I really liked the animation for the Quest for the 7 keys book.

Professor Blue Fairy was sleeping with Markov? When was that happening? That Central Park orgy was terrible,  the dinosaur was funny, I'm surprised that nurse didn't trust them, they were asking about the dinosaur. 

I thought the batteries were bigger. Now it seems like magic is a kind of energy.

That was a really good catch by Quentin when the professor jumped off the building, it looked real.

"Her cat blew up, as they do."

No, that sucks that Quentin is possessed by the serpent thing. It makes sense because it saw them talking in the police station but so much for the quest.

Season 3 Episode 1

I'm surprised people are still attending Brakebills even though there's no magic. I'm glad they addressed how the school is still running. It makes no sense to pay all those scholarships & salaries if the point of the school doesn't exist anymore.

Bacchus, was right, Quentin & Julia were such terrible party guests. I'm also surprised that he didn't say yes to Star Trek Trivial Pursuit, I guess he's not into sci-fi? That party was pretty good, they had so much trouble finding a god in that 1st season, meanwhile Bacchus is just hanging out with people, playing twister. It was pretty weird because it did not seem like that kind of party.

The geek conversation between Margo & Eliot was hysterical. They pulled a Darmok & Jalad at Tanagra!! The subtitles were pretty funny, but not necessary, also Grace Park played Boomer, at least say her name!

Is there no magic only on Earth?  Because there seems to be a lot of magic everywhere else. How are fairies still around? Are they creatures? also the library is able to let jerkface teleport around everywhere.

That intro was hysterical. Was that from the books? It was so good.

Wait, they said killing a god was a big deal & that there are consequences & that gods have parents, but the only thing that happened is some dorky plumber showed up & turned off the magic. Shouldn't Ember & Umber's parents have shown up like Renard's did? Then 3 months later Julia has magic again? That was so anti-climactic. 

That sucks that Margo lost her eye but she doesn't seemed to have learned from it at all.

At least Alice is mostly back to normal thanks to the power of bacon.

That was funny how Julia had the Cuba snowglobe.  Um, no, spilling spaghetti on the table, doesn't make it less bland. They should have been eating cracker sandwiches, those are square.

I like that they didn't draw out the return of Alice, they started working on bringing back Niffin Alice right at the beginning & they did it. It seems like she might be like Buffy when they "rescued" her from heaven.

Wow, I didn't expect John Gaines to sacrifice himself like that. Although considering that Renard killed his wife & he was going to be harassed forever, it makes sense. Julia was so stupid. I can't believe she didn't kill her rapist. That was the stupidest thing. She didn't have her shade & even when she did, all she was trying to do was kill him, then when she had the opportunity, she lets him go? Kadi was right to be angry.

i'm surprised that Elliot wants to go back to Fillory, he used to hate it. The Great Blank Spot is interesting, 20 blank pages. So it's been made a secret or something?

Dragons are real? and it's just hanging out in a warehouse. They really should have brushed up on how to talk to dragons with respect.

I'm glad that Eliot called out Margo for screwing things up. Being a bitch & insulting people may be funny in school & with friends but in the real world it has terrible consequences. Yeah he's a king, voting for governors was a stupid idea, he should have established a court of royal families.

Why would Julia kidnap the Alice shade instead of her own? That made no sense. Julia doesn't have shade so she shouldn't have done something nice for Quentin. Unless she thinks that getting Alice back will help her kill Renard?

How dumb that Penny is going to retrieve books without any magic, duh. He should have some kind of defense before he does that. Also how does he fix his hands on "his time" when the whole point of the deal is that the librarian would fix his hands.

That was funny when she started doing sign language & he ducked.

The Fuzz Beat thing was interesting, but they should have had the lists actually be the spells but in code. Also what is the point, if there is a library that anybody can go to? Is Fuzz Beat just for hedge witches? How did nobody know about it until now?

How is a person's Shade such an obscure topic? That's pretty strange.

Season 2 Episode 9

This was a good episode with a lot of stuff happening, they took care of the war & Katy broke Julia out of the dungeon. The Blue Fairy was pretty funny.

Right after I watch the musical Flash episode, These guys start singing One Day More! That was great.

Margo is going to regret that deal with the fairies to give away Eliot's kid. That was a terrible decision. Why did Quentin release Niffin Alice? He should have done it when Renard was there. julia is so lucky that Renard's kid showed up.

I can't believe Eliot ran away when he had the king of Loria unarmed at the end of his sword. That was lame.

Season 2 Episode 8

Luckily the complication from the godbortion is that her shade is gone, which makes her happy & have no conscience. It's too bad she didn't start singing like the other guy. She did blew up all the Ents for no apparent reason & the Dryad from 9 lives of Chloe King. I like that he thought it an insult that the high queen & the royal ambassador were there instead of the high king.

I liked that viewmaster that can see the past. Even the way the adoptive dad's face was scratched out.

So Niffin Alice isn't trying to get out, she's trying to be a super-Niffin? I fell for it just like Quentin did. But now Penny knows what's going on, so I guess that's good.

Of course despite his tough talk, he's a pathetic white knight who signed away a million years of service to the librarian. How is that a better deal then working for the drunk?

I like that they have been showing us other types of magicians lately. Those Chinese girls were expensive though. A million dollars in gold!? That is an expensive abortion. Did Eliot & Margo even check if Fillory even uses gold? It may not even help them. So much for Golem Eliot being clay, doesn't look good for next week, neither does "there were complications."

Stupid Penny, duh the gravity belt. He should have teleported out with some gold & then come back. Omg, they were so stupid the way they wasted 2 quarterbacks doing the exact same thing.

Alice's Niffin self is mean, that was a bad deal. She is probably going to do awful things with his body.
