This ending was anti-climactic. I was wondering how they were going to get their old life back, but they figured out a way. It wasn't the ASA targeting Black Lightning, just a rogue op. That explains why they didn't move those pods somewhere else. It didn't make sense that they would keep them in Freeland.

They explained Syonide's weird skin, so she's like Wolverine sort of? And Kalil produces venom! That's why he the bracers, that was pretty cool.

It looks like the mom moved back home, finally. I hope next season they stay away from government conspiracies & stick to regular criminals. You can't have a stable secret identity & family when the government knows who you are.

I can't believe the show insulted the police again, even though Henderson helps Black Lightning & was a good guy & a good cop. This show is unbelievable. Then they threw in the Make America Great Again line & it didn't go at all with Proctor's speech. So much sjw fail.

Khalil is back! I was hoping we would be like Kickpuncher, but in reverse. Instead he seemed to be all around stronger now & for some reason he was shooting tranquilizers from his bracers? That was just weird. I don't know if he's an actual comic book character, I'm not an expert on DC characters, especially old ones like Black Lightning.

I like that the daughters were upset about losing their father. There just isn't enough of that on tv.

I like that the wife called Jefferson for a spider, she should just move back home. He was totally out of line for yelling at her about Jennifer. That poor girl just wants to be normal & being a meta-human is not normal. Suppressing that gene would make her life better & he should understand that his daughter does not want to be like him.

I don't ever want to see Tobias with his shirt off again. Is Syonide a robot? What was up with her arm?

I like that he's working with Gambi again. The hologram was a good idea, but it was a little too ridiculous. For them to have that kind of technology will make all sorts of future episodes not believable because then people will be expecting them to use the hologram all the time.

I like that Vice Principal Kara is still loyal to Jefferson, even though she's evil. I also liked how the mom said "no" to Henderson when he asked if she trusted him.

The kids in the school were being ridiculous and so were his daughters. How dumb are they that he had to talk down both of them who were ready to fight the police. Does no one in the school respect the authority of the police??

Sins of the Father: The Book of Redemption

I liked the father-daughter talk that Black Lightning had with Jennifer at the end. That's what I want to see more of on this show.

I'm surprised that Anissa is forgiving of Gambi & Jefferson isn't. It doesn't make sense, I expect the opposite. SJW activists like Anissa usually are not forgiving at all & nothing anyone does is ever enough. She's right though, Gambi was unaware of what was happening & when he found out, he tried to do something about it. Not only that, he was tortured & was still protecting Jefferson.

The wife is starting to get on my nerves. He loves her & she seems to still love him, just move back in with your husband & children already! This family dynamic is just another example of why men shouldn't get married.

Lala is fearless now & that makes him really dangerous.

The Book of Little Black Lies

As if that girl having an Outsiders comic wasn't stupid enough now they mentioned Supergirl & Vixen. What are they doing? The mom mentioned them as though they are real people so are they on Earth 1 or some other Earth? None of that makes sense. It's like someone who doesn't know anything about comics is writing this. It's so stupid.

I really like how Jennifer was not into having powers. She wants to go to prom, get married & have babies. And she asked the important questions, can she even have babies?

Thunder's new costume looks better but her goggles suck. There is way too much plastic on the bridge of her nose. That would make it really hard to see. She should have kept the wig, with it, her own dad didn't recognize her.

More feminist garbage. Thunder is doing nothing for female superheroes. Besides, what are they talking about? Vixen, Supergirl, Speedy, Black Canary, Jesse Quick, Hawkgirl, White Canary, Gypsy, Star Girl, Killer Frost, Isis, Saturn Girl -  none of them have been portrayed in anything other than a positive light. Again, it's like someone who doesn't even watch their own shows wrote this episode.

Besides, Thunder destroyed a statue & injured innocent people. When she does something worthwhile, then she can be positive.

What the hell! Gambi was part of some government experiment on the people of Freeland & is still an operative, but he was protecting Black Lightning all this time? What an insane reveal. So was he working with Lady Eve to protect Black Lightning or was she also an ASA agent? and what organization is that? I don't know that one.

I like how he told Anissa that she was wrong to beat up the confederate flag guy. She was wrong for so many reasons. It would have been great if he had kept going & explained that she judged him based on his appearance & hurt him, just like some cops shoot blacks. That really would have brought it home. But they can't carry out the logic too far. I don't think some viewers could handle the show being even handed that way. The casual racism of this show with Jefferson making that Italian comment is still surprising to me.

Nooo, I really don't want Jennifer to have her powers already. Anissa didn't get hers until she was in her 20s, it's dumb that Jennifer got hers in her teens. It's Black Lightning, not the lightning family. They really hate men on this show.

Equinox: The Book of Fate

This was a really good episode. I am really liking when Black Lightning does his big kick, (I don't know what the right name for it is). I hope they give it electricity one day. That would be really cool, although I think his electricity only comes from his skin & not through his clothes.

What is going on? I thought Gambi was a good guy. Everything he says makes sense, but somehow he made a deal with Voodoo Eve? An ecosystem with the 100 gang? That doesn't make him a good guy. She even gave him bone dust that he used after he dressed up as The Shadow & killed Tobias's right hand man. 

Jefferson realized that he needs to train his daughter so that she doesn't make the same mistakes he makes. It wasn't really his fault but thanks to his involvement, Tori was shot dead. 

Then Eve was electrocuted to death with those electric guns. This isn't even a season finale & so much happened! 

I didn't like how both Anissa & Jefferson were so nonchalant about the fact that their actions each led to the death of someone.

Three Sevens: The Book of Thunder

As if this show doesn't have enough problems, they decided to waste time on Confederate statues? Kaliel got shot during a march against gang violence, but Anissa decides that now she needs to deface a stupid statue & get arrested. As if the people in Freeland don't have enough problems, they decide to waste time & effort on a stupid statue. Now she has an arrest record. Does this girl even have a job? Jefferson was right to point out that she used a gun. Putting her life at risk, it wasn't even brightly colored. It was all so stupid. Then she showed up in her costume & destroyed the statue after she was arrested. What did she accomplish other than hurting the people who were in the park? It's the stupidest non-issue ever. 

They should have concentrated on colorism & the fact that they were calling Jennifer "white" because she was being successful at school. Of course that doesn't make sense because the school is supposed to be a charter school, where everyone is trying to succeed.

I was getting annoyed that Black Lightning didn't take her out right away. He didn't land 1 punch. I get that he's old on this show & but he's not getting headaches so he should have been able to beat her faster than he did. At least her costume works, he didn't recognize her. Hopefully the albino doesn't kill that poor doctor & his family.

I don't like how he is using the electricity like it's telekinesis. He uses it as a lasso, now he's flying with it. He opened an analog padlock with it, but somehow it didn't melt it.

Now he's passing out? I really hate how they are nerfing him, first with the addiction to electricity & now he's getting headaches, all so his daughter can take over. Because god forbid we have a black man be a positive role model, it's gotta be a girl.

Seriously, "use a taser"? He himself had to shoot his student with his  black lightning & it wasn't enough. He got punched all over that alley but he tells the cops to use a taser? Oh lord. I would have shot that super-power kid too.

Anissa has no ass, they should have changed the dialogue. Is that the costume she wears in the comics? It worked, because it didn't look like her but that was such a busy costume. And once she shows up in the news, that employee is going to know who she is even if she did pay with cash. Hello I'm sure the store has surveillance video.

So Gambi knew Tobias? What is ACS? Did I miss something?

What terrible parents, they just believe the other girl without even talking to Jennifer? The mom was being so stupid. She's soo anti-violence. The mom is there the whole time, why do they even bother with this separation stuff?

Finally a good episode.

Vice principal Fowdy was right. It's a partnership & after adults have done everything they can, kids need to make the right choice. Bernard chose to do that drug. He should be expelled, what kind of message does that send to the other kids. You can't keep giving kids chances.

The rap music on this show sucks so much. They tried to rap about the green light drug & it was terrible.

Anissa is so dumb, not only did she go after the drug addicts without a disguise, she referenced their earlier conversation. If they heard her, she is going to be a target. Even Peter recognized her, hopefully he erased the footage so the police don't find her.

Silly Jennifer, why did she quit track. Dumb.

Please tell me Lady Eve is not some voodoo woman. I thought she was doing liposuction but that guy was dead & he opened his eyes.

I hope Tobias turns Khalil into a super villain! That would be awesome!

Lawanda: The Book of Burial

Only 3 episodes & this show is becoming an offensive mess. Instead of acknowledging that most things are based on class & money, they called their daughter telling them about losing her virginity "white folks thing" pushing the racist idea that black people are never successful.

Then they cry about marching & crime but it's their own kids who are turning into criminals. In the very 1st episode, Jennifer disobeyed her parents & went to a criminal infested nightclub while she was underage. She broke the law & was about to sleep with a criminal. They seem to have ret-conned her character since then, because now she's a virgin.

Then on the tv screens they keep showing cops shooting black kids, but the criminals are all black! Then that preacher deserved a punch. Henderson is trying & the minister insulted him by making some reference to slaves.

I think it's really stupid that Black Lightning doesn't have any kind of super-healing. That was a terrible idea. Most people can't handle that kind of electricity coursing through their body so he has to have healing ability to not get electrocuted. That was a stupid decision by the writers. And so is that awful theme rap. It doesn't rhyme & sounds terrible.

Anissa just cheats on her girlfriend for no reason at all. Why? Just to have an interracial relationship? Are they trying to make gays look bad?

It was incredibly stupid that Grace had a copy of the Outsiders comic & mentioned dressing up as Supergirl. If this show doesn't take place on Earth 1, why did those idiots mention other heroes in the 1st episode? What idiot wrote this?

I like that he doesn't just shoot electric blasts but uses the electricity to charge his punches & kicks. That was great. I like that the tailor was like, yeah I blame you, to Lynn, it was pretty funny.

I didn't expect LaLa to shoot Lawanda & I was sure that the detective was dirty. I guess only the white cops are dirty because they were the ones who let in the black albino to kill Lala.

I'm really hating that Black Lightning is old. He's sore & beat-up from only 1 night of action. Plus they introduced this weird concept about him maybe being addicted to his power? As if there aren't already enough black stereotypes on this show, they want to make the hero an addict? I don't know if that's from the comics but it's a bad idea.

Of course, no show can be on tv these days without having a lesbian in it.

The Resurrection

I like how he can make people float with lightning, but is that even possible?? Will should be dead, he was hitting him with electricity for a long time. I can't believe Will stalked Jennifer & went to her school, what a creepy loser.

I wish they hadn't of picked some old man for this role. I don't know why they did that. It should be a young actor. Do they plan for this show to last only a couple of seasons or do they plan on replacing him with one of his daughters?

Only The Flash is a hero, Green Arrow is a vigilante & is wanted by the cops. I don't think Vixen is a hero & the Legends are time travelers, they mostly work in secret, so those talking heads were wrong.

I'm not surprised that Jefferson Pierce is more angry that the police are doing their job than the criminals who make his city dangerous.  He let's criminals get away with crimes all the time. He hates the police so much that he just ends up enabling all the crime in his own city. 

Even though they try to show how bad the police are for "harassing" a law abiding citizen who happens to be black, the show is really exposing how the black community perpetuates the crime. Not only are the criminals black, but so are the elected officials! So who's fault is it that there is so much crime?? lol
