I liked that we got to see more characters. Way better than the random Failmation guys like Col. Blast. I also liked that Glimmer used her laser blasts.
This was another weird episode where Peekablue, Entrapta & Clawdeen show up & they are all treated as though they have been on the show the entire time. I'm sure kids watching were like 'who are these people?' and what was that greenhouse where Entrapta, Catra, Clawdeen & Leech were hanging out? It had cat statues but it had Entrapta's trap machine. The cartoon made it seem like those cage mines & the electromagnetic cube were her traps. She didn't even use her hair. Instead there were mechanical tentacles that grabbed She-Ra.
I didn't like how they made Bow, Glimmer & now Peekablue into children who can't do anything while She-Ra is the only adult. It's such a bizarre characterization for the cartoon to take, it devalues everyone.
Then they had She-Ra say that there are other ways to resolve things other than violence. Like did they forget this cartoon is about a rebellion against an Evil Horde & She-Ra uses a sword? They are almost all violent.
