This episode was stupid. It was supposed to explain why Catra turns into a cat when she wears her mask but it didn't explain anything.
It retconned Catra into being a human who can change into a cat only because of the mask. This doesn't make sense because the queen of the Magicats was already enormous cat, she never turned human, even after the mask was stolen by Hordak. So why would the mask turn a human into a cat? Wouldn't it turn any human who wore the mask into a Magicat? What is the point, if it doesn't do it permanently? 
Then they used magic to erase Catra's memories of the Magicat Kingdom so she can't use the mask's freeze ray ever again. Which means these selfish cat people won't be joining the rebellion. It was just stupid. What a terrible episode. I'm going to pretend I'm catra & my memory of this episode has been erased too.
