They turned Rapunzel into Cinderella's wicked step mother?! What a terrible idea. Whoever approved this should have been fired. They ruined Rapunzel. How could they do such a thing!?

I don't like this origin of Rapunzel. She's just some random woman that Mother Gothel imprisoned in the tower as some decade-long test to find a Guardian? That is a really dumb premise. They should have found some other reason for her to be imprisoned in there.

I also don't know where they are going. If the flashbacks are to be believed, than Rapunzel is right, she was heroic & sacrificed herself for her family just to be tricked & for these bad things to happen to her. That is not how fairy tales generally work. For her to lose her family & have a daughter not care about her is a strange message for this show. 

Jacinda was making out with her werewolf baby-daddy, because nice guys finish last.
